Hurricane Basin, East side of engineer?
Way north east from there.
vehicle-accessible pass [does not say a jeep can go over the other side anymore.]
I know the pass you are referring to is Mosquito but idk what road you are on
want to go there though :)
But I have ridden the Tenere over Mosquito. [Not two up]
More North east
Here's another picture of the mine.
Is it that mine/mill just NE of Argentine Pass on McClellan Mountain?
Santiago mine [I think]
oh oops I had thought Mosquito was the highest pass but Argentine is indeed higher
so that pic was taken on road 352?
I don't know any road #s
Mosquito is the highest PASS for a vehicle, Nothing but hikers or hard core bikers can pass over Argentine.
This is Argentines west side.
I always thought Argentine was a 4x4 trail up high. I am trying to remember if I ever did it on the DR, but not sure.
OK, I got it. The road to the top of the pass is moderate and then at the top it goes into a pack trail as eemsreno showed in his picture
No reply's huh? Both peaks in the background are 14ers. Looking for the name of the peak my bike is on.
I can't come up with anything NMTrailboss, need more hints.
Are you near Flag Mt.?
Hard to believe that Argentine pass was once a stage road.
Been a couple of days...give away clue: The peak my bike is on is named after the capital city of New Mexico.
Somewhere around here there are pics of Yellow Pig doing Argentine solo down to the board and having to turn back (two man operation getting a bike thru that).
Ironbrewer and ere109 and someone else....Shearboy? made it all the way down many years ago.
(I'd guess Santa Fe but I don't wanna put up any pictures )
I'll take it then since I have a new pic from last week... ...Santa fe!
^^^ Great picture of the 650L and no I don't know where that's at.....
Name the trail. Don't be cheatin if ya saw it on my FB last week!
