2004 beater? Tom, I don't know you, I think, surely you jest? That beater seems to have never seen the world it was designed for. The tires and bars tell the story... Loan it to Geek or Shearboy. You will get a beater in return. :lol3

Any noob slapped by geek is a friend of mine. Did you check Ace Mortorcycle salvage? The guys working the shop are like any salvage yard. All I can say is make an offer.

Don't follow. Didn't say anything about baking bread, is that what you do? What I meant was it's a motorcycle salvage operation. That said, the salvage industry greatly inflates the rates for those who are willing to part with it.

I know a guy who cheats people like that. He says there is one born every minute. More power to him. I'm warning those trusting people that would buy stuff from him. Would you?

Yes, i was being a bit tongue in cheek. The bike to date has led a sheltered life. I plan on getting it more into the territory it was destined for. But, alas, I am not likely to drive it up and down Redcone anytime in my lifetime like others here can/do. But a few trips to Alaska and Canada and all over the Western US should get it property muddied up. :clap

The Colorado State Patrol office in Castle Rock had a cancellation, so I'm headed down there at 1:30pm tomorrow to have the certified VIN verification and compliance inspection done....then off to DMV.

Yep; took the 950 out for some excersize. I haven't ridden it much since Baja last January.

Duke, how many days a year do you guys ride? I've often wondered that about several Rockies riders including you and Tammi.
    What would you estimate?

Man; I have no clue. I have never really thought about it. Not enough? :lol3

edit; Just a wild guess, maybe in the realm of 50 or 60? I seriously don't know. And alot of those days are just a quick ride before work.

    Hey Tom,

Ya, as you know I'm not likely to do Redcone on my KLR either.

But for sourdough starters, my mom had one for several decades (ok, maybe 20 years) and she got it from our 93 year old neighbor who had it for several decades and didn't remember where she got it other than the person had it for several decades... Odd that you can go to any grocery store and get a similar starter. Not the same, but I'm not sure it matters. Knowing nothing about it, what I do know is that mom also makes yogurt. She can use a yogurt starter from a peach yogurt from the store and it tastes the same as another flavor. It is also much thinner, on the first batch, but when she uses the first round starter the next time it is just like it should be.

More than you wanted to know, I'd guess.

Well, I have yet to meet Miss Deb and I only championed her 8 foot cock at your request. After all, you were her 8 foot cock champion, right? I was more than happy to help. You are one outstanding fellow with only an 8 foot cock in mind. Oh, I guess it helps that Miss Deb is also a hottie... I wonder where your true motives lie...

Which is odd, because I think Miss Hilligan is also of great virtue and outstanding beauty.

Who knows, maybe if and when I meet Miss Deb I will be her new champion, leaving you all alone, without Miss Deb and without an 8 foot cock...

At least you will have the beauty Miss Hilligan, if she will take you back.

Does anyone have an atv jack or something similar i can rent/borrow? I need something to go under my sooby motor so i can slide it under the bumper and raise it up. I cant think of a way to do that without being the incredible hulk...
