I pass along to muffin man as I just saved my laptop from death.
Thanks! School just moved to all-electronic testing this semester using personal devices (Mac, Windows, or iPads) in the classroom and a program we had to buy (Examsoft) locks down the device during the test. But it doesn't work on Android tablets which is what I have besides my desktop computer, but it works on iPads but not the new iOS 11 which was just released and the Library at school has iPads to rent but they were updated so I have no computer/device to take school tests on and didn't budget for one . All because the nursing department doesn't have or wanted to obtain a computer lab that would fit the entire class for tests before implementing all-computerized testing. Not that I'm bitter or anything .
Gotta love nursing school.
Run examsoft in a VM.
Because thats what I'd be doing.
Yup. That's what I'd be doing to. Of course I run Linux so all windows things either to in WINE or into VB.
It detects VM's supposedly. I plan on trying to defeat it but need to source a sample test file. No way I'm installing that crap on my desktop; it bricked two computers after the first test, each classmate had to spend an hour on the phone with the Examsoft company to get them unbricked. It also knocked out Wi-Fi on a few other computers too (it disables all radio during the test).
Chromebooks work? I have a cheap one I will sell you.
Nope, only Windows 7, 8, 10(home or pro), Mac's within 2 years old and iOS 10 ipads.
Anybody interested in this little '73 CB750 before I take her to a wider audience?
She'll need the usual carb cleaning and battery. Tires are old, seat is old - heck the whole thing is old. Hasn't been ridden nor registered in over a decade, if that gives you any indication. Tank is clean, so you've got that going for ya! Both side covers are there, original air box, etc.
Miles unknown, as speedometer/ odometer is fickle and unreliable.
Vetter fairing and bags included - she's ready to party! Might have the cb radio to go with it as well. I'll have to poke around a bit.
Clear CO title in my name.
