Brand new stator in box goes with it. Throttle is a G2 throttle cam system with the cams included.

2003 KTM 450 exc. Clean title. I have owned it for 3 years. Here are the details.
Hitchcock did the full suspension for me.. Im 175# and it rides like a dream on trails or street.
    bark busters
    trail tech vapor computer,
trail tech kickstand and bolt. Sits perfect. No leaning like the stock stand.
    Guts comfort seat.
    Ktm rear fender bag.
Front tire is dunlop 756. about 20%worn
Rear tire is Maxxis desert IT. Practically new
heavy duty tubes on both tires.
    Tires ballanced.
about 10 hours on front sprocket
    10 hours on chain
    aftermarket front mask and headlights.
    15 hours on brake pads.
    New brake and clutch fluid.
aprox 25 hours on new top end. Job includes new piston, rings, Kibblewhite intakes, valve adjuster tappets, valve guides, new banjo bolts on oil line, spark plug cap,
valves just checked and are perfect.
    Engine ice in radiators.
    New water pump seal.
    New 1.8 bar radiator cap.
New battery. Still in the box.! battery in the bike is weak. Just purchased the new battery last week.
Custom done radiator fan. 2x the cfm of the ktm fan kit and draws much less power.
Renthal pillowtop grips in great shape.
    skidplate
aftermarket fuel screw. MUCH easier to adjust. No tools needed and easy to get to in an instant.
    re-routed carb vent lines
Carb was just fully cleaned, serviced, jetted, fully done over by Dave Hopkins (DJH). a.c pump adjusted for squirt duration, squirt strength, and diaphragm replaced. O rings replaced. Custom needle. Transformed the bike.!
Oil and filters changed about every 10 hours with motorex full syn.
    rear brake light
    left side mirror.
    Swingarm bearing replaced last year
Swingarm pivot bearing/heim replaced last year.
    Quick pull front axle
    rear rotor shark fin protector.

This thing is reliable and runs like mad. Plastics show that its an 03 bike. Bark buster ends are scratched as well as the front. My buddies say it will not win a beauty contest, however it does not look like a p.o.s. I did not replace the cosmetics of the bike because I spent a ton of money making it run perfect and not be a wrenching problem.
I am giving the ADV gang a shot at the bike before I list it on Craigslist on monday. I would love to see it go to a fellow adv person.
A new impulse purchase of another ktm is why I am selling.

    Asking $2250.

Best to email me direct at wakewop@comcast.net.
I can check it much easier and reply faster then through the website PM system..
Im located in Westminster off of 100th and sims.

Wolfman Explorer Lite Tank Bag - SOLD SOLD SOLD

When was the last time you saw one of these for sale? This one cannot be told from new. Sale includes the tank bag, unused Wolfman rain cover, used strap harness, and brand new strap harness.
Purchased two months ago from Wolfman and on the bike for less than two weeks. It's too big for my current bike and I ordered a smaller bag.
New, the bag was 129.99 and the rain cover @ 19.99
Now, 125.00 cash for all. I'll ship for the cost of postage and gas money to the post office.
    Please PM with interest.

What will you be driving to the post office? Wat kind of mileage does it get? How much is fuel in Longmont? Mid-grade or Premium? How far is the post office from your house? Could this be combined with another errand?:huh:huh

    Explorer Lite

We have been paying attention. Our riders want a tank bag that has the same curved bottom as the Rainier but not as big. Wolfman is proud to offer the Explorer Lite. This tank bag is 2" shorter than the Explorer.
The Explorer Lite fits all the same bikes as the Rainier and more. Especially the KTM 950 Adventure (It nestles between the two gas caps so you do not have to remove the bag to get gas.)
    Features include:
    • All foam and Ballistics nylon construction
    • Expandable gussett
    • Zippered front pocket
    • Interior zippered mesh pocket and key clip
    • 4 point mounting system
    • Non-slip, non-scratch bottom
    • Reflective side accents and carry handle
    Color: black
    Dimensions:
    Length: 11"

Anybody looking for a very clean Kaw 250 KLR?
A couple of years ago co-worker of mine bought a 2002 KLR from his neighbor. The bike was totally setup for Dual Sport and travel. It has soft side bages and mounts. It has a really nice tail rack. When he bought it he asked me to look it over. Honestly it was in new condition. All the records were kept. The maintinance was well documented. The bike was as clean as they come.
Nathan mainly drove the bike the 2 miles that he lives from work. I know that he took it off road a couple of times.
He put the bike forsale on our local lemon lot. He has it listed at $1600.00. Honestly I would have priced it around $2000.00 I did a quick check on it today. It still looks clean. I did not check the ware items.
    Regards
    Hair.

The bike is getting a lot of traffic today. The weather here is not the best. So it might not sell this weekend becouse of that.

I thought that I would run up and get some photos of the bike. Looks like he did trail ride it some. The brush guards have some skid marks on them. And part of the head light plastic is busted. The handle bars are not the standard steal ones that bend all the time. They were replaced when he bought the bike. All in all this bike is solid. You still need to make sure that there is nothing internal wrong with it. But there really should not be.
The bike looks to have about 6200 miles on it.
    Here are some photos.

Ah, yes. The bike for the seasoned KLR rider. The one who thinks a 650 is an expensive to operate gas guzzler.

1600.00 is close to current market pricing for a KLR 250. The one I bought last week for 1500.00 had 4200 miles on it and just light scratches cosmetically. It seems the front braking system is a trouble spot on these bikes but they're otherwise bulletproof. The one shown has a few nice touches like the wider pegs and carrier. He shouldn't have any trouble getting his price. Luck with the sale.
Funnest bike I've owned in a long time.
