Not prepared to say at this juncture
Working a deal, but let's just say... its F-F-F-F-F-F-F-FAST
Seriously... I've got a deal in the works that could wrap up as early as tomorrow.
In addition, Ron from Motorado would really love to get a chance to sell my KTM on consignment, so if anyone is even remotely-entertaining the idea of getting a 990 Adventure, contact me ASAP... I can possibly work an "ADV SPECIAL" deal before I give Ron a shot at it.
EDIT: The 990 is now resting up for its next owner in the capable hands of Ron at Moto-rado - Anyone who's interested can go see it there.
Still needing to thin the herd!
2008 Yamaha WR250X. On Craigslist for $3,500. Inmate price $3,300.
Here is a link to the Craigslist Ad: http://fortcollins.craigslist.org/mcy/3567235666.html
Thanks for putting a price up. It's much easier to pass your ad around with a price. Swaeeeeeet machine.
This is the earlier E model (2000-2002) which runs higher compression, better cams, and a better carb than the later DRZ models. Hard to find a stock engined DRZ with this much power.
This bike has approximately 200 miles since I rebuilt the top end.
Fires up whenever I want it to, without issue.
Titled and street legal.
It isn't a show bike and gets ran in the dirt, snow, and mud. It is for riding and riding hard.
Fresh Wiseco piston
Rekluse Z-start Pro
MRD Pro Comp exhaust
Kickstart added to supplement the electric start
New sealed battery
FCR39 recently rebuilt
Jetting is spot on
R&D Flexjet / extended fuel jet
Thumper Talk manual cam chain tensioner
Thumpertalk skid plate
S Sprockets - 15/44
200 miles on the new chain
Sisneros Speed Works quick pull throttle
S model radiators for better cooling
Electric fan, not hooked up yet
Needs tires, the knobbies on there are around 40%, if that
Fork seals have started to weep
Electric fan isn't hooked up
Brake light stays on, just for show
Getting to be brake pad time
The clutch isn't needed with the Rekluse so it's just left unhooked down by the crankcase
The exhaust is for an S model so the mid mount hole is about 1/2" off. It's still solid.
I can think of three holes that need tapped
I will include an S subframe w/ airbox which will take care of two of the holes needing tapped (on airbox) as well as the misaligned exhaust mount (on subframe).
Will trade for a later KTM 300 or a KDX220 or 200 in GREAT shape
Title in hand

Fast in the dirt or the street?
New Seiko Monster 200mt Dive watch
This is the new SRP313J1 mechanism and not the older SKX779
Only worn a few times.
Fast on the street. I'm not quite ready for fast on the dirt... the DRZ will keep me busy through this season, at least. Next year? Who knows? I'm hoping there's a plated KTM thumper in my future very soon
2012 BMW K1300S (Barely Broken In!) In da houzzzzzzzz-ah!
Let the mud-sliding begin
That's not an oil leak on the left side of the cylinder. It's some organic goo from a mud dobber or something of the sort. I think.
Congrats David! I rode an inmates K1200S and the ergos about killed me.
I hope that it fits you better!
Mmmmm, me thinks that's not a mud dobber. It's the weep hole for the water pump.
David: How the hell are you going to get that over Gore Pass in the mud this spring?
I was thinking weep hole for the spark plug recess
(sharp 13S David!)
