Alpinestars Tech 6 dirt boots, size 10. They're in great shape for their age. I recently traded some parts for these and have decided to go a different route.

$80 OBO picked up in Englewood. I may be able to meet you somewhere along the front range as well.. but no guarantees on that.

Lee Parks Deerskin gloves, size mens XS, fits like a women's large. Lee Parks sizing is a bit weird - in 'normal' sizes I wear a men's medium glove (8M Held Steves & Hawk, BMW gloves) and these are the slightest bit too snug for me. :cry

These were $125 new. Excellent condition because I only wore them two or three times.
Wonderfully supple, like whale foreskin...or so I'm told.

$85 if I pop them in the mail, or $80 if you want to make the trip over here to SmellyTown (south of Greeley).

For Sale 2005 BMW R1200GS. 79,000 miles. Two owners. I have owned it for the last 4 years and 68,000 miles. The previous owner was Tom Austin of Iron Butt Association fame. He was setting it up to run the IBA Rally but did not get in.

Located in Parker Colorado 32 miles from Denver International Airport. Fly and ride will work. That is how I got it home from California.

FWIW I tried a Jeep trail twice. Not fun on a 600lb bike! I have a dirt bike for that type of riding. This GS has been used 90% of the time for sport touring.

I have NEVER dropped it. I know  ! Hard to believe, but it is true. There are a few scratches and I tried to show them in the pics. The left side case decal is damaged, not the side case. Some of the black powercoat is flacking off at the handle. I get a lot of complements for an 8 year old bike.

I will not list every farkle and state its MSRP. I find that so annoying in other ads. However, I will list all the Farkles I can think of.

Factory options are ABS, Wire Wheels, Alarm, heated grips, and hand guards . It has been converted to an Adventure Fuel Tank including the factory crash bars. This was very expensive (like $1800). Tom wanted the Adventure tank but not the Adventure seat height. And there was no R1200GSA in 2005.

Aftermarket items: Aeroflow fairing (extra tall windshield is on it) Regular height screen included in the sale. Ohlins shocks front and rear. The front has 15k since rebuilding. The rear was rebuilt less than 1k ago. Jesse Safari side cases and trunk including the hidden tool compartment. ADV decals! Heated Corbin seat and non-heated passenger seat. (or you can have Russell seats, your choice). Four Powerlet outlets (two live all the time, two switched), Secondary Fuse box, Smartire Tire Pressure Monitor system, Garmin GPS mount, Cruztools tool kit, Kaoko throttle lock, Offenbach slip-on muffler (stock included with sale), Rox risers, Marsee fuel cap ring mount tankbag.

The rear tire (Anakee 2)is @50%, the front (Shinko 705) is cupping. I will put a new front tire on it before the sale. I will also change the oil (changed every 6,000 miles with Mobil 1 15w-50 synthetic). I changed the transmission and final drive oil every 12,000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil. I followed the factory maintenance guidelines for valve checks, brake flushes, etc.

Runs great. Uses less than a quart between oil changes. It does that the noisy dry clutch rattle when at idle and the clutch is out. If you search the forum, some bikes do that and most people say its normal.

Did have the rear main seal, and transmission seals replaced, and a spline lube at 24,000 miles. Shifts great.

Why am I selling it? I have too many bikes and not enough time to ride and maintain them. I am pairing down to 3. (touring bike, sport bike and dirt bike) Next year I may buy a Water Cooled R12GS Adventure (love big gas tanks). We will see.

Price. NADA and Kelly Blue Book put it near $9,000 dealer retail. Boy do they protect the dealers?!
Motorcycle Consumer News puts it at $7740 plus about $500-$1000 for an Adventure models in the later years. How about
    $7800!

Bought the set but the oil filter guard would not clear my skid plate (SW Motech skid). Never installed I could hold it up tell it would not clear the lip. So this one needs to go. How about $40 shipped ( lower 48 only). Here is the link to the website and a pic of the one I'm selling. This is for the oil filter guard ONLY the web link shows all 3.

Its a couple years old. Includes 2 modules, 3 headsets, wall charger and car charger. I changed to Sena so I could stereo BT from my Goldwing to both me. And my passenger.
Better somebody use these then collect dust on my shelf.
Picked up in Parker or the greater Denver area.
    $100 obo.

Gone. That went almost as fast as free doughnuts at work!

I need to clear up some things before moving.
Anybody wants a free Harbor Freight tire changer? I'm too lazy to take pictures (what do you expect for the price...) but you can just google. It has the motorcycle tire accessory.
You'd need to pick up in Windsor (I could bring it to work in Ft. Collins)

    $0 (OBO :1drink)
