What are they off of? I don't have any experience w/ that tire and I would be worried about burning it off too fast. Are you wanting the Anakees or to just sell? I'm asking 'cause the bikes I see you have, are not the right size.

Who knows, maybe I've bumped into you before at the fire academy they used to do in the fall down there.

They are off my V-strom, and they do fit Beemers. I'd be interested in trading for the Anakees.

Shows how much of a NooB I really am.(Note to self, DL = Stroom).

Let me do some research, and we might want to put it off till the roads clear up.

Oops, I guess you are right, sorry. I tried 'em on my Strom, and then didn't really see any point in having them there.

Just seeing if any one in the general area is looking for a deal on a 1150 gs.
It has under 11000 miles, Black, not much in the way of farkles except some huge auxilary lighting. (piiaa 8" down low) Its in good shape and will have new rubber, riders seat, fresh valve adjustment and other standard service done. Its not mine but a friend has offered to give me a % for getting rid of it. Clear title. I'd rather not ship, call me lazy cuz I am!

I'm thinking around 7k. Seems like a good deal but what is the concensus here? The bike could be ready to go in a couple weeks.

I'm thinking it's time I quit talking about it and bit the bullet. I'm in the market for a trials bike. I don't know what the hell I'm doing, so I don't need the latest, greatest steed; anyone have anything for sale 'round about 5 years old? Thanks.

    Real similar.

Damn. I don't have any angels on the shoulder opposite all the devils, each of whom are insisting I buy a different bike...

Hey, I'm just getting started. Looking for clothing above all else. With all the experience out there you guys have to have some jackets, pants and boots. You know the ones you had for maybe a season and then got something new for the holidays or for your birthday.

Looking for L - XL and more dual sport (changeable pads and zip-ins and outs)

    Thanks a million....

I bought this bike to see if I'd enjoy motorcycling.

It's an Al Baker XR. Tons of power, I can regularly walk away from my friend on his 2002 DRZ400.

It has a good skid plate and supertrap exhaust.

I was going to put new bars, handguards, stator (lights don't work) and sell it for $1500 but I wouldn't mind selling it now for $900 so I can buy Trialsguy's XR600.

It would be an easy bike to plate but it hasn't been done yet. I'll sell it w/ Bill of Sale but getting a title is easy in Colo.

Bike is in Western Colo but I can arrange delivery to the front range. I figured I'd give you guys a chance before putting it on Craigslist.

    Prices are firm.

    DR650SE Gel seat $75 SOLD
Seat is in good shape, has been replaced with a Corbin due to IMS tank. Uses the hardware off the stock seat.

7/8" Moose Handleguard perches $5 SOLD

Yakima (Kingpin 2) 2" hitch bike rack $100 SOLD

I also have a couple front tires I would be willing to part with all are 90/90-21. They appear to be used but very little. I was given these tires so I don't know their history.

Bridgestone Trailwing 41 - appears to be a near new take off from a DR $15
    [IMG]
Maxxis 6006 - appears to have less than 100 miles on it. $25
    [IMG]
Pirelli MT21 - this tire has been used (has mud on it), but I am unsure as to how much. $20 (SOLD)

    Thanks,
    Rob

7/8" Moose Handleguard perches $5. I believe the color was Titanium. I bent my handlebars and replaced them with 1 1/8" bars so these are leftovers.

Anyone interested in a smokin' deal on a 950? '06 1100 mi I'm looking for $9000.00 Has bags & mounts, removed but included if sold. 16 tooth sprocket and Akro's with inserts installed. Has an aftermarket seat, comfy and taller than stock. I don't have the stock seat. Clear title in hand.

There's a story (isn't there always a story?). I've owned it since Oct '06 when it had 300 or so miles. I rode it until 1000 miles and took it in for the initial service. The damn thing hasn't run right since. Dealer won't/can't help. They took off the canister, but not a full canisterectomy. They have put 3 batteries in it and it needs a new one again. I will buy one for the new owner. With a new battery it will start fine cold, but it needs a full canisterectomy and SAS removal to start well when hot. When it starts, it runs great. Cannot say enough good things about it. As you can see by the lack of miles since the service, it has spent most of its time in the service dept.

Here's where the story gets sticky. I don't have the time to work on the bike every stinkin' time I want to ride. To be honest I'm pissed at the dealer for not wanting to or capable of doing the work I ask them to do. Its not a money thing, I frankly don't care how much they charge me as long as they get the thing right. So far after 4 trips in to the service dept, nothing gets accomplished other than them putting in a new battery and telling me its all good.

I am part owner in a HVAC company that takes up my time during the week. I am also a wrestling coach (Greco, get it?) and that takes up my weekends for competition and my weeknights for practice.

I had every intention of making time for this wonderful bike, but frankly it just hasn't materialized. I think it best to let it go to someone, locally, that will appreciate it and be able to spend the time with it to sort it out correctly. I can email pics, but it truly is as new.

Ned, if this should have gone in the Rocky Mountain Flea Market, please feel free to move it.
