Have to wonder what the size of his cast iron table is, that's heavy shit, may have to be done on his site,.,.,,my experience is that cast iron needs to be a nice looking cheery red to braze well, never tried it on my Syncrowave Tig welder

Table isn't too huge. I'd guess base weighs 150-200 lbs. I can move it with my dads truck for sure once I unscrew the tabletop but would happily pay money/beer someone to come to the house in lieu of taking apart as it was a bitch to get the top screwed on.

I'll try that link as well in the morning. The couple places I called never called back or didn't do house calls.

Looking for a shift lever for a DR350/DR650. Current one has been bent back to life one too many times.

Looking for a commuter car that puts out high mpg. I'm in Boulder, something near by would be nice. Let me know if you have anything.

    Thanks.

Does anyone have 2 tires that are P or LT 235/75/15 laying around in NoCO? Can be in any condition, really. They're just going on a pickup I'd like to sell and not for my daily driver, and the fronts are toast. Free or cheap preferred. PM me.

    TIA

looking for a competent suspension shop in the north denver (broomfield) area. I have a 2008 Honda Ridgeline of which the ride quality has deteriorated. I believe i have isolated to Compliance bushings (aka Lower control arms). I have the arms and attempted installation and failed with complications. I got it back together but it will need towed to be properly fixed. Thanks in advance.

Those compliance bushings go out all the time. Truthfully, Honda dealerships do them so often that they will have you in and out quickly with the work done well. If you don't want a dealership experience, look for a Honda dealership mechanic that is looking for work on the side.

Oddball request...anyone have a live trap I can borrow? I need one for a big boar raccoon that has figured out the dog door. We've moved the food but now he's getting saucy since the buffet is gone. We have a second dog door between garage and house and he's bold enough I don't want him to move in.

Yes. We have several good Tomahawk live traps. Central Denver.

I will be heading to Baja the 21st or 22nd of December. My plan was to us a phone as my GPS device. Here in CO I rely on my iPhone and Avenza maps, I am just concerned about such a relatively delicate device on an unsupported, solo Baja trip. So I am currently re-thinking that strategy and wondering about using an actual GPS instead.

Does anyone have one that would be good for use on the bike that they would either want to pay forward or perhaps loan out for a few weeks?

    Thanks,
    Mark

(Also welcome any advice on Baja...excluding comments along the lines of "Wear your kevlar turtle neck to prevent beheadings."'

I always forget about this Most Wanted thread. I've had a wanted ad up in the big Flea Market for a few weeks. Pardon the cross post, but maybe it'll help.

    I'm looking for a VW Bug: http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/vw-bug.1268924/
    • 3-5k budget.
    • Projects are fine, but I'd prefer it to at least be driveable.
    • Late 60s Early 70s. 67 is the holy grail IMO, but I know I likely can't afford it.
    • Super Beetles aren't out of the question, but are at the bottom of my list.
    • Minimal rust if possible.
    • I like Buses too... but again, probably not within my budget.
Anyway, I know that's a hard checklist at my budget, but I've seen them pop up locally. I've checked 1 out and had about 3 sell before I could get to them. So they exist. Anyway, let me know if you have one collecting dust, or know someone who wants to sell. Thanks!

I've got a VersaHaul I don't really need. They are almost $500 new though. I'd want closer to $250 for it, which isn't "$100ish".
