OK - I'm in - just registered. BTW - Cabins are still available. I'll go back and look at the volunteer list and Dawn and I will be signing up for some things.

Turns out I broke my foot and I've already paid my registration. Anyone still not registered who wants to do a transfer? Thanks.

Ouch! Sorry to hear. I broke my heel back in July and am just starting to get back into the swing of things. I'm already paid, but I'm sure someone will take you up on it!

    Heal fast and well!

Kimiko and I registered, but I don't see how to pay. Also; If we can order a small and a large t-shirt we would like to. I will help cook breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

There's a "Pay now" button on the home page, scroll further down.

T-shirt orders closed already, but usually Dody has some extra.

OK, I should have paid for late registration and two t-shirts. If shirts are available great, if not I'll just donate the money.

Called in backup for the Rally Raid planning. Do the initials 'SOG' ring a bell? If they do then you know you're in trouble. We set out to bring you something completely different from our last three years in the Lake Whitney area and boy did we succeed! Let's just say that you should mount your big tank for this one!

I'm planning on having it ready for all you rally goers by this weekend. Half-Ass Rally Raid will be optional if you lack the fortitude to make it to Mary's. That's right, I said "Mary's." :evil

You got that right. This is a taste of RTB2, circa 2011, with some newer stuff to get there! Oh, and Loco will be en route if you need a rib snack on the way to get chicken fried steak.

Shit. we're a week too early this year to route through the Spartan Race again at Rough Creek. I think others would enjoy the zombies.

Dody, will we have access to sand pit, or is that just for when Brad did his thing?

Wished the routes would get out just a smidge before the last weekend before RTB. It helps decide and give me time to get a little, medium, or large bike prepped for the weekend.

We're working feverishly to get the Rally Raid out today! SOG drove the route yesterday and has a glowing report. The Half-Ass Raid is a bit of a Loco run but there are some nasty roads, green pastures, and beautiful central TX countryside! Teasers below. The full Rally Raid is mildly insane and can only be accomplished if you're "fit, fueled, and flying low, leave at dawn and get home at dusk" per SOG. But there's plenty of ways to make it back to HQ if you're running low on time.

Veriest fulfilled his end of the bargain and the Dirty Raid is up! Please let me know if anyone wants to write the Dirty Raid turn-by-turns in a more bike friendly version. I have the format already.

Paved Raid has also been uploaded. Get them here: RTB8 Routes

Things may have gotten a little out of control on the Rally Raid but Mary's CFS never came easy! And this is RTB after all!!!

Rally Raid and turn-by-turns are posted in RTB8 Routes. Unfortunately multiple maps think there's a gap in one of the roads up near Strawn so there are two RR routes. And one Half-Ass route, all in the same gpx. There's also just one TBT that covers both routes.

Get your GPS devices loaded and TBTs printed ahead of time. Be sure to attend the Rider's Meeting Saturday morning if you have questions. There'll be loads of misinformation you won't want to miss.
