"And there would be vids and pics if the GS had ascended the hill"

I'll damn sure take my hat off to the guy that does it.

Well, I do want to point out that there will be an alternate route one road over from Arkysaw Hill and depending on my bike choice and conditions, I'll be on it. ;)

Dahweed, I'll probably be on the DR650 this year.

Honestly, if I can't ride it on the 650, I probably can't ride it. I do as well on it in the woods as I did on my wr250f and drz400s. Better in ways since I sit a little lower and the CG is lower.

Wise man. RTB is about having fun. Doing something that will get you hurt is not encouraged.....because it's not fun. There will be work arounds.

That being said, ride with a group that will pick you up and, if the conditions are appropriate, it is probably doable on a properly suited DR or KLR. Arkysaw Hill will be a challenge for all but the best on anything bigger.

If it is sloppy, I will just sit up top filming. It should be epic.

Oh, and virtually every other "road" we have found I'd ride on the Big Ugly. Dry, that is.

If it's sloppy I may just camp there.

I'm uploading the video now, but the actual road on the way up to the hill was BRUTAL! Huge ruts and very overgrown. Ask Larry's knee. Much fun to be had though. On the way to lunch in Peoria we happened upon this wonderful little "lane."

Whitneymike has the road dialed in! He's been "up close and personal" with it before, ha!

After lunch in Peoria at a great Mom & Pop Burger joint it was off to the hill, a hop skip and a jump?

The road is easy to miss it's so grown over and is very little used'

    Larry needed coaxing.
