and there's a reason for that, Tros. They are nothing but great.

I had an 05 that, sadly, went to Reflex heaven. Couldn't even find a used, let alone new, one to replace it with, so i went elsewhere (Majesty). if honda would come out with a 400 reflex, i'd instantly get out the checkbook.

Yeah man! I just decided that a Reflex is the scooter of choice for the wife and maybe even for me. Had not seen one in person but am on vacation here in Long Island and stopped into a local Honda dealer and they had a 2007 on the floor. WOW ...it seems about as roomy as the Burgman. This one was mint too! Just had no way to get it home. But when I get back my search begins.!! Good luck with your new scoot! :clap

What kind of service / maintenance do these require??

I've had almost the whole Honda Scooter Line (1981-1987) at one time or another.

    1986 Spree 50 - Black
    1986 Aero 50 - White & Blue
    1985 Elite 80 - Red
    1986 Elite 150 - Red
    1086 Elite 150 - Blue
    1986 Elite 250 - Black
    1981 Passport 70 - Yellow
    1987 Helix 250 - Red
    1984 Elite 125 - Red
    1985 Elite 150 - Silver
    1984 Elite 125 - Gold

And now the 2004 Reflex 250 - Clearly the best of them all. Representing over 20 Years of Great Scooters.
    & about $1000 less than a Silverwing.

I've had my '02 for a couple of years now. So far, I've replaced the oil (no filter, just a screen), spark plug, air filter and drive belt (@ 10K miles). They're a riot. I get ~70 mpg. This winter I'm going to do the brakes (rebuild calipers, replaces hoses, new pads). It's even more user friendly than my DR350.

I'm not expecting much excitement in the repairs and maintenance department.

    IT'S a HONDA.

Some New Golden Spectro & Some New Continentals ought to do it.

How much room is there under the seat?

The one issue I'm going to address (this winter) is the poor design of the front caliper. Honda designed it so that the hose (from the master cylinder) and the bleeder are both on the top of the caliper. So, when you bleed the caliper, the fluid that's in the lower piston (there are three) gets "trapped". Eventually this fluid absorbs enough water to pit the bore and the piston doesn't retract completely when the pressure is released. This leads to a "swish-swish-swish" sound as the pads ride on the front rotor. I was hoping to score a front caliper off eBay to see if there's a way to resolve that but they're few & far between.
Enough room for a full face helmet plus some other odds and ends.

From the sounds of things, it has more trunk room than quite a bit of scooters. Thanks!
