No whistle on any of our bikes (3).

I think that is coming from the helmet and mic on the camera. Not my video, but we have heard that from time to time depending on where they are placed on the helmet and the angle of the helmet visor.

It's not there at the start or when revving it at stand still.

Maybe the original video poster will comment.

    Heya CJ

I am the seller and this was my reply hence why rossguzzi asked here as to be honest I can't answer it.

Heya rossguzzi, I only rode the bike with the rotweiller filter assembly for probably about 35 miles on freeway with traffic so I couldn't honestly tell you, when I throttled it there was certainly music but to be fair I was not listening to anything else.

If anyone else can chime in who has one please let us know.

The reason I didn't ride as you did (which is cool) is Maya arrived unwell with bad rattling :eek1, I contacted the owner straight away but have heard nothing back.

Being concerned I rode it straight to Dillon at Zens and then home like a pussy so the reality I didn't even get to stretch her hooligan legs :cry

If you watch the speed you notice the whistling starts are he approaches 40mph, and doesn't change as he shifts.

That would indicate it is wind noise.

    I have a rottwieler on my RC8R.

I think the induction roar is loud as my exhaust (akra with custom made db killer) now. I have to back off as I pass the sound measurement booth at laguna seca.

No whistle on all of the bikes that I have tuned with the filter/jetting... only wheelies :evil

If noise is a issue for the rider/environment, then the lack of a airbox definitely adds to the dB output of the bike and would be a consideration prior to making the modification. :deal

    That's actually the turbo.

Kidding, that's my helmet whistling. The GoPro is over taken by the sound of the motor at wide open throttle and when I let off the throttle the GoPro then picks up the helmet whistling. It's an Arai XD4 and I'm trying to find the whistle to fix it. Keep in mind I'm going 85 to 95 mph when I let out in 4th gear. Check out some of my other vids that are uploaded after that one if you want to hear the sound some more. The actual sound is incredible in person. Other bikes are always saying they can hear it. You can hear the carbs just sucking the heck out of some air, but only if you want to. Sounds awesome in my opinion, and the wheelies are crazy even in 3rd and 4th.
