The data here is for a ride out of Harrodsburg KY on 9/22/2012. The start address is 986 S. College St., Harrodsburg KY 40330. I have not ridden the entire route consecutively from beginning to end for an exact mileage but it's been ridden from various starting points. Mapsource says the total length is 146 miles but my GPS says its 170.

This file contains 3 tracks. Each is under 200 track points for older receivers. Leg 1, 2, and 3. The track points are sparse along some areas but they are denser around intersections to make it clearer to see which road to take.

Especially when you are turning, remember to keep your eyes on the road:doh

NOTE: If you use the "route" data and get turn by turn prompts from your GPS (like a Zumo 220), at some places you will hear something like "arriving at eight twenty one Deep Creek Rd.....on the right". You can disregard the addresses you hear. To coerce the Mapsource program to create the route I wanted, I often had to creat a waypoint along a road somewhere. The addresses you'll hear are just insignificant waypoints along the way.

The list of likely participants has grown a little. Several have talked with me in person or on the phone. The count is at 20 now but there are always some no shows and last minute shows. If any of you ever heard of Barnacle Bill's Racing Leathers, he might ride with us. He's either bringing a Yamaha Jog scooter or a Sportster. Yes he is a character and proud of it. If he shows up it will be worth your trip just to talk with him.

I may not get to ride that day but I have several friends who will ride for sure and I'll loan my GPS to someone if needed. There shouldn't be any problem finding someone to follow. I'll at least get so ride some of the end of the ride and/or take some photos as riders pass by certain points.

Regarding rain, I'll likely have a new set of Klim gear by then so bring it on.
