so the connector from the top of Falls up to the very top (where Falls crosses the road) is the remnant of an old Edison road that needed to be 'restored'?

i understand it wasn't an 'official' trail as it was not on the map but i don't believe for a second that all the stuff they ripped was old edison road. that is a very poor excuse to rip up every little useful (and fun) trail not on the map.

    i agree.

sounds like hot air from Terry's boss.

i'll attend meetings but none of this was mentioned at our trail maintenance. if they knew of all this 3 years ago, you'd think all the times we've volunteered and just BS'd with Terry and the other rangers they'd mention it and give us a heads up that we need to take action.

i'll attend those meetings. i also plan on hitting up District 37 to see if anyone else has been involved with State legislators and Forest Service in regards to more closures, whether it be at Rowher or anywhere else.

it's time that the Rowher Trail Krew gets organized and joins forces with groups that have been involved with the State and local level.

if anyone is interested, let's meet up soon.

Razr find out what Green Stiker grants the Angeles has out for next year right now that affects Rowher. 2014 Grants are already written and submitted. Public Comment period is over soon. You have days until your voice won't matter again until grants for 2015 are underway next Jan.

Yes, the lower tails are more fun anyways.

On the plus side look at all the new single track we can make up top, just to the left or right of those silly fences.

Been riding there for a minute...

I have done everything at Rowher successfully, (some took a few tries and lots of dirt naps tho:D), only a few things got me SKEEERED :eek1

Entrance to Rowher from Bouqet between the boquet trail and Artesian spring road (the one that goes straight up) :uhoh

And sections of Lookout and Fall trails, not skilled, talented and drunk enough to master those yet, just some dude who likes to get away from his wife for a few hours every weekend. :D

    Love Rowher tho.

Any of you Rowher lubbers call those numbers and expressed your needs to Forest Management ?

They aren't taking your comments from ADV or TT.

i think we are done with that route. its wirecutters and freedom for us from here on out. if they wanna shut down the whole desert, thats fine, let them pay to patrol the whole fucking thing.

I couldn't care less about Rowher. I live too far away... and didn't go there when it was nearer my home. But if people start posting pics of disgust... begging answers... and complaining their trail work days were a rip off... I just think they ought speak to the decision makers rather than the local grounds keeper.

If no one is willing to do that we should all stop the basketball fake when this shit happens. The point of posting the names and numbers was to simply call the bluff and end the phony outrage.
