Looks like it would work very well on loose over hardpack and rock. True? How would you compare it to a Maxxis IT, Goldentyre fatty, Starcross medium, or Parker DT front? (if you have ridden any of those.)
Really like the fatty front, but it only lasted one Parker DT rear, and both wore out pretty quick. But boy do they hook up.

i only have experience with maxis,MzH grips better on hard pack and side lugs are strong .i generally rip side lugs off (Rocky sigletrack/side hill stuff)and have to change tires because of that with plenty of tread left,sucks.again...I found a new tire!

Did my regular loop from the house over to course gold rd past the kennels & ended up for the final loop in texas canyon. Stopped to take a pee @ staging area 1, terry was there with 2 sheriff's that are patrolling on quads, had some good conversation with both & especially the sheriff's talking about there hopes for opening more trails in the general area, it all depends on grants & the totally money amount allowed according to both, anyhow another great loop, cooler weather & another tomorrow with lunch @ the NEW historic rock inn!

I'll have to snap a pic of the Huntington Beach Police Mounted Support Unit at the next big event. And yes, you read that correct ... Mounted Police Unit for Huntington Beach.

They have a one ton, crew cab duelie with a "communications" module, pulling a fifth wheel 6 bay horse trailer. The cops are fully outfitted in "police" cowboy hats, vests, chaps and boots. Along with traditional western holster of course.

tell me about "tax dollars" at waste.
