Has any one stayed in the above ATV resort and how is the trail ridding in the NE part of Tenn?
Not this one, but . . . rode trails on the adjacent Coal Creek OHV Area (70 k or so acres).
Terrific riding area, IMHO; assuming the same geology/geography, I'd expect the same experience from Royal Blue.
Did you end up going to Royal? Thinking about going next weekend, never been.
The resort is "OK" in RV or cabin, strictly a riders place to stay, don't go there for the camping!
Dirt biking there is typically very muddy with deep mud holes, Creek crossings, etc. Better chance of finding good riding at Windrock......
Just for clarification: Windrock = Coal Creek, regarding riding areas, AFAIK.
Windrock looks great! A little out of the way for me, but I think it may be worth it! I'm looking for anywhere between Columbus, Indiana and Nashville,TN that is worth a day ride and night of camping somewhere on my way to Nashville.
I know this is old, but we are going to Royal Blue this weekend, 10-8.
Four or five of us. Hope your trip was good.
My family and I are going out there to Royal Blue this Sunday through Wednesday.
