Thanks Noah, I thought you had more than one lens, or a zoom lens too, not just the 18-55mm.

Do not depend on them being waterproof, very resistant but if it has to be dry you need to depend on inner bag to do that, just FYI as I run them on my Husaberg. Keep living the dream so I can live it vicariously!

Just loving this. Noah - Did I miss a post that tells us where you're off to next, how far you plan to go, etc?

Keeping winnign at life. You're an inspiration. If you swing through DC, you got a place with me.

I'm in Wyoming right now. I am on my way back to MN.. I should be in Tofte by Saturday. I plan on being there for 3 weeks.. or until i get sick of sitting still.. then its a short 2 week loop on the east coast and shipping the bike to the UK. Probably out of Toronto.

I got snowed on going over Beartooth pass today! :clap good to see its still winter somewhere!:freaky

    Noah,

Sorry to divert your thread but where can you refuel with 91 octane in Superior National forest besides off Hwy 61?

Isabella? Trail Center? Any other locations on/near the dirt roads in the national forest?

    thanks,

I almost wiped out when I went through Yellowstone. I had a long, warm day behind too many autos and RVs. I skipped lunch and didn't drink a lot of water that day. I was woken up by a park ranger's lights and sirens. I don't remember what I got pulled over for, but he suggested that I get something to eat before I got back on the road. I'll always remember the way I felt that day and how I narrowly avoided a crash...

Keep the rubber side down Noah. Be well.

I am glad to hear that you rode Beartooth pass. I really enjoyed that ride. I stayed in Red Lodge and had my first pint of Moose Drool. It was an enjoyable night.

    Safe travels.

Hey, we know you can fish. Why take that 4 piece all over the world if you aren't going to catch some fish :deal
Speaking of fish... Did I miss some pics about fishing around Bozeman? Surely you got out for a few hours on the Gallitan?
I know time gets in the way sometimes, you won't have time to do and see everything as you travel.
Hope you get yourself and bike back up to 100% before the next big leg of your trip. Sorry about the get off. Glad you didn't have a close encounter with the bear:eek1

Thanks for the kind words (everyone).
I went fishing and shooting up highlight canyon one day and didn't catch anything. We hit up the Gallitan on Saturday. I'm waiting on photos from my friend Jeff Hawe.

So, I'm sitting here in Duluth with time to kill cuz we just got 7 inches of rain and the town is floating away, reading about this guy from Tofte, MN, of all places, and I figure out he is Jan and Kathy's kid, from Cobblestone Cabins! Cool, knew your parents way back in the 70's, even before they got married, playing volleyball at the GM high school, and then would bump into them at ski races all the time and here and there. And you got a great trip. Keep up the news and say hi to the folks from Lance Swanson:D

I am sure my gf won;t mind having another dirty biker in the flat. lol

We have a garage too so your bike would be safe.
