    Congrats on your 700th post...

We are having a drought here in CA. Going to be in low to mid 70s tomorrow here in the Bay. If you find some pow, send it to Tahoe.

    Cheers,

    JG

There have been good days and dry weeks. Is California hurting as much as it did last year?

As you wish. There is no wrong way to get out and play in the snow. Sometimes when I watch the free skiers with the big fat skis shredding the mountain I think i'm doing the wrong sport. Then I remember how bad I suck on skis :rofl

No worries! It was fun to relive CZ for a few minutes today. To answer the question.. no Greatful Dead.

To everyone else.. thanks for caring. :evil

On a side note, its been dumping snow for the last 36 hours and looks like it will continue tonight. Tomorrow and for the next 5 days will be sunny. It will be about 3 to 4 feet of fresh tomorrow.. but really.. who's counting :D

Man I couldn't have said it better. Why do people insist on doing that. Makes a 5 or six page RR into about 20.

Well thanks for killing a day Noah :D a little cold here in Canada for riding so livin vicariously through this.
    Cheers

Today started amazing.. and turned out to be the best day of the season so far. 48 hours of snowfall ended around midnight last night. woke up this morning to sun and about 3 to 4 feet of fresh pow.

    (this was a Nissan truck)

In order to keep the ADV crowd happy, here was a backflip attempt.

I was about 50 degrees short on rotation... but with all the new snow.. it doesn't matter:deal:rofl

Tomorrow they will open the upper lift which is always great. Tomorrow evening I will pile into a Mitsubishi Delica with 6 other people and drive 7 hours to Svaneti. It is a newer resort with only 1 chair lift (2km long), trees, and many pillow lines. We will be there for 4 days and we plan on filming a lot. Next update should be epic.

I think a :clap and another :lurk are appropriate. We got something like 6" of fresh powder back home on the southern/western end of the north shore today...but nada at Lutsen...it looks like your snow conditions are a fair bit better.
