Yeah, I'm IN too. Tinfoil hat is on. Let em rip
For y'all that are wondering what's going on with us:
Down to 48 hours staying with my dad each week
I do check in
Just haven't had much to put out there
Thanks for the update, Alan.
Too hot to do much over here other than sweat. These pics pretty much sum up how everything is going for me...
I checked the Born On Date to see if this was bottled on a Monday or a Friday. Turned out to be on a Thursday.
Morning after Hump Day
Nice "scenic" fence line and posted sign
By peering through the actual bullet holes in the monument
you won't notice the detrimental facets
Gator Arrested for Barking at a Dog
Yep, a UF football player was suspended for two games upon being arrested
Apparently barking at a police dog is a
Hey Al, some friends are going scallop diving this weekend up there somewhere...what's that all about?...I was thinking of heading up.
Lobster mini season is this week...If I load up (and I will) I can bring some up...
JoLinda's cousin will be here this WE also
Here she is over at Johnny's
JoLinda and I have decided it's easier and cheaper just to buy scallops
Although I'm sure I could hook you up with someone that's going
And mini season...
Last Wed and Thurs of July
There was a time when I wouldn't have missed it
Back when a gallon of gas was a buck
Yea, Publix has bay scallops on sale for $8/lb
I swear theiy're just as good as fresh ones from the gulf
For $12 I can get 150-200 scallops already cleaned and ready to cook
Try and go scalloping for twelve dollars
And cleaning all those FFs is not a joy either
Told HoJo that when everyone wants to get together for scalloping
We'd just show up for dinner with a tupperware container full of nice plump already cleaned scallops
Finally closed on the sale of my industrial property today
Dayum I'm glad to see that chit gone
Now hopefully the new owners will remember to pay
Seems like you had that problem when you sold off some of the rolling stock a few years ago. Hopefully non-payment isn't part of the culture over there. On the other hand, my late father in law sold his house in Spring Hill three times holding the note himself. Had to foreclose it twice, then the 3rd buyer actually paid it off. :huh
Back to work on my barn at The Swamp
I originally installed hurricane clips on the trusses but...
Not the actual ones that go up and over the truss
Got ten installed yesterday, only 16 to go
Thankfully it's not quite as hard to do as I had anticipated
Anyway, next is to dig and pour the footer for the stemwall between the poles
Have to drill into the poles laterally at their base inorder to anchor them into the floor with rebar
One of these days we might actually have a working kitchen set up in there
