Looking great Al! Can't believe how much its changed in less than 2 months. You all planning any trips up this way?
Getting color samples for the vinyl siding tomorrow. Same people are supplying everything for the screen room too. Got to get the rest of the roof done first though
Yes, plan on Hailey and I sometime this summer. Been trying to convince HoJo to do something in lieu of New Smyrna
My cousin is raising them
And wanted that male to mix into his gene pool
That would be cool. We're here all summer but the last 2 weeks in June.
So WTF is going on?
We're actually home on a Friday night
Fixin' to stick the cornbread batter into a screamin' hot skillet
Bean soup I made with dark beer and ham...
Hailey says is way good
Might even get laid tonight
Been working on HoJo's house since Monday
Twenty gallons of exterior paint
Case of caulk
New screen for the back porch
And concrete stain
Speaking of laying pipe, what's all the conduit for???
Pheh! You'll be too tired.
Six inch conduit at The Swamp?
I thought I saw a new delivery by the bush line riding by the other day. Maybe it was already there I'm just getting forgetful...

I saved that grey six inch sch-40 pvc to use for a dock on the river
The heavier six inch was to be used as a basement drain
Still hope to use it
HoJo was craving a Central Grocery Muffuletta for Mother's Day
She said the one I made was damn near perfect :dg
That one looks as good as any I had when I lived in NOLA.. I think we used to hit Maspero's mostly for muffelatas.
Took my boat out to the gulf stream for the first time, from Savannah, 70 miles out, 8-10ft seas, left the doack at 1 am.
made some fish tacos last night.
Always miss being in the keys during May when the weedlines develop
John, you do know when you have the schoolees hovering around the boat you want to leave one hooked outside the boat
That'll help keep the school intact around you
My Dad used to use a hundred pound leader with a gold barbless spoon tied onto a mop handle
And just yank'em right in one after another
Got to where I used to troll ballyhoo rigged with a plastic head
The little planers on the side would keep the bait from spinning
Yes, I know about keeping one in the water on the schoolies. Caught about 30 in 5 minutes a few years ago. We were pulling rigged ballyhoo with skirts. We had 6 lines in the spread. I need some out riggers next.
Going back to Savannah in August for the wahoo bite. Trying to go to the Gulf of Mexico next month. Maybe Gulf Shores, AL.
Nice dolphin! Just one more thing I miss about being stationed in Key West for almost 5 years.
Caught from my 95ft sport fisherman, err I mean patrol boat back then. Somewhere out around Dry Tortugas....
55lbs, and not fit to eat - worms and the meat was all fatty and nasty.
