I was telling HoJo about this artist since she liked the Paul Thorn show so much. In case she hasn't searched this up yet....

Edit: I think more than a few of us identify with this song. I know I do.:photog

Also glad you two could make it. We laughed at how drunk I got at the Scrub and you leading the effort to erect the small tent for my daughter. Mata and I had some of the longest conversations we've ever had. Good times.

Too busy stuffing my face to take food pics. But... for brunch I pulled out half of a large egg foo young from last night's order from our go-to Chinese takeout place. It was the House Special: chicken/cat, pork, shrimp. Warmed in the wave; a dash of salt; sliced tomato covered with fresh mozzarella; fresh basil; EVOO; into the toaster oven til mozzarella threatened to slide off. Pulled out and hit with some six cheese shredded Italian.

A good combo. Then at the last bite I realized I had actually converted it to a frittata. :dukegirl And thinking about Chinese influence on Italian food a la Marco Polo, the frittata may well have its roots in egg foo young

Well here's that campsite up against the river that we went to years ago. I was searching an old folder with some tracks in it that lead me back to the location.
I must have ridden past the turn to this camp a hundred times.

Gonna get this new bike set up. Hopefully it's not too heavy to hang off the back of my half ton truck

Lets plan on something after hunting season and before the bugs get too bad

You can see the same picnic table that was there on the far right of the clearing and that blue thing is a pin that shows where the coordinates are located. It is primitive.
There are some nice scenic views the area when you stay close to the river. That site is in Tate's Hell and there may be a fee to use it.

Haven't had any Canadians stay at the camp since 2010

Are they ADV? Screen names? We've had some regular Canadian guys come to the Old's Cool rallies at Cruso a few times. Some are inmates on here and some not. One of the group, Scary Gary, has the most beautiful resto-modded R80 ST you could imagine.

Hi Mark1305; Dave here (B10Dave). I am one of the two guys who will be staying at Alan's Swamp in Feb. The other guy; my friend Maurice is not an inmate.

Cool. Are you by chance one of the Canadian crew that has ridden down for the Rallies at Cruso, NC (BRMCG). So many of them talked and swapped but not necessarily screen names or IDs.

As you can probably tell, this community is very much about meeting and if needed helping fellow riders.

What dates? I'm too lazy to scroll up and see if they were posted. I've been languishing for far too long and need to get out if for nothing else than visit Alan & Jolinda and meet new friends.
