    "UV," Nah :nah

The window cracked due to dry rot not the sun

Hasn't been used but a few times

Actually found a replacement for a pretty reasonable price

Anyone ever had a Mountainsmith tent?

Looks like a copy of the one I've had for years from REI but with no window to rot out

I heard of Mountainsmith but I don't know anything about them. Dryrot is just as bad. I know it's tough for 99% of us, but the best way to store a tent is to have it loosely pitched in a spare bedroom. At the very least leave to fooker fluffed up in a corner of your closet, not stored in a stuff sack!

Sure my tent window didn't like being crumpled up for years inside a hot sack

That’s almost an exact copy of my coleman. I may buy one and see if the quality is there to last

My main must haves- two aluminum poles, free standing, no sleeves to slide poles in. Vestibule or two for gear. Most of the time, I’m solo so dual doors are not a big deal, but would be nice to have. As would a rubber coated “bath tub” bottom (I don’t use a ground cloth anyway but...)
What I’ve got now takes one stake for the vestibule, and I’m ok with that. In the looking around I’ve done I haven’t seen exactly what I’m After at any price. I want to go from dumping the stuff sack to loading my junk in it in under 2minutes.

I made Pea Soup Monday, other than what you regularly throw in add some Cajun style seasoning and at the end blend in a chunk of Cream Cheese.
That's some good stuff, I guarantee
