Puttering and I got out today for a lil pre-TransFlorida ride. Me on my GSA and him, well, ummm... since the Versys valve shims didn't come in... he rode his VTX 1300. Gotta say, about half way in, I'm thinking... This Dude turns a scooter into an ADV ride and now a VTX? Jason, my hat is off to you man. You know no boundaries when it comes to riding offroad. We hit Loxahatchee, Corbett and Dupuis. Other than the wind, conditions were great.

Ended the day with a few chores and a quick MTB ride at my local Pinehurst trail. Managed to ride fast and not crash. Life is good today.

You guys think about making the trip to Blackwater again in a few weeks for the Bunny Hop.... March 24, 25, 26... same stuff as last time only with a secret Bunny Trail. Think Bunny as in Monty Python...:kurt

Vic - We'd love to ride that area again but I'm doing the TransFlorida Rally 3/10 and Kevin and I are doing the savage race (5-7 miles of running with 25 obstacles) in Dade City on 3/18. Between the two, Blackwater will have to wait for a while. Too much time from home, if you know what I mean!

The shims finally came today. Cams are back in.
The big cruiser was a lot of fun. Some of the hunters did a double look. Even though I got it all dirty and a couple of parts fell off, it was totally worth it. I love adventure riding and will ride whatever is available. I usually get a lot of support from other riders. I encourage anyone with a old beater to take it on the dirt roads and trails and see what it can do. A darkside tire definitely helps.

We could meet at the gas station off Southern at 8:00- 8:30 or meet at 9:00 at Corbett. I just want to take the Husky out on an easy Sunday ride to get a couple hours on it. Figured we'd run through the dirt roads in Corbett and I'll hit part of trail 6 to see what it looks like. Something similar to what we did when you had your VTX. Ride for a couple hours.

Text me or post it up in case others are interested. This will be big bike friendly, even though I'm on the lil bike.

Great riding with you guys today. The flat tire certainly sucked. Glad I was finally able to see the end of trail 6. Chris, thanks for scouting and instructions.

We make the best of what we have to ride. Trail 6 is real dry now but once the rain comes, it will be deep!

Big Thanks to Ryan for the tow back to the house due to the flat.

If it has any elevation, Ryan will ride over it or jump it. If it's a bump, it's a jump. I can't wait read his for sale ad whenever he sells that WR. None of this gently used crap. Ridden to it's limits but bullet proof. However, even all the zip ties wouldn't hold his tail section on.
