    S. Meyer BMW Motorraeder seems like a good vendor. While checking eBay I came across a listing of theirs, and opened up the "eBay Store" to find out more. They sell all kinds of airhead parts and seem to have very good prices on certain items.

Their on-line catalog is incomplete and pretty much sucks, but their listing on eBay Store is pretty comprehensive. I ordered a "Sport Seat" ($240), short cable set for low bars ($50), and some piddly parts. Shipping for the entire lot came to $49, so the total is less than the cost of the seat alone in the US.

His wife Christine Meyer (?) emailed back the same day and said I'd overpaid on shipping and that she had already credited my Pay Pal account. They seem like good people, now all I have to do is wait for my shipment...and hope for the best.

I wonder if any ADVr's out there have used S. Meyer before?:dunno

Try alteteile2003 as the vendor name. Sorry, I couldn't make these work as links.

That works fine, thanks. They do have lots of interesting stuff. I'm surprised that they haven't turned up in previous bmw airhead, r75 etc. searches for me. JT

got my 1000cc siebenrock conversion kit from him off ebay. was about $150.00 less including shipping compared to siebenrock or motoren-israel sites. took 3 weeks from order to delivery over the holidays.

    S. Meyer (company name) = Siebenrock.com (website) = alteteile2003 (on Ebay)

Bought my /6 repro seat from the ebay store, great service, quality product, prompt delivery. Only thing they might be lacking is cohesive branding :D.

I think siebenrock and S. Meyer are entirely different companies

s.meyer is alteteile2003 on ebay and their website is

    http://www.meyer-bikes.com/home.php

    hope that helps

They are separate companies, Siebenrock does wholesale there stuff to other vendors, Bob's BMW in this country carries some of their stuff like seats and valve covers. JT

My mistake. I made the (incorrect) assumption since the alteteile2003 catalog on ebay pretty much mirrored the products offered on Siebenrock.com, that they were were the same company. I didn't know Siebenrock wholesaled AND retailed.

For the record then, I have had good experieces purchasing a Sienbenrock /6 repro seat from S. Meyer through their ebay store alteteile2003.

My S. Meyer order was placed via web on Jan 15, and the package arrived yesterday in the mail...10 days from Germany, that is some great service. Parts are genuine BMW, except the retro "Sport Seat."

That seat is a work of art, welded metal base with the cafe "hump" and nice polished SS trim around the base. Hinges included. :clap :clap :clap

    I am reviving this thread.

I place a sizeable order with them off of Ebay. They have responded quickly and told me that the packages were being sent on 3/6/07.

Still have not recieved them and am wondering if they got stuck in customs.

Has anyone had that kind of issue when getting parts from the father land?

I have sent them an email to see if they could track it.

i've dealt with them many times in the past for /2 parts. i've had luck with his repro (wound) ignition coil which so far has lasted 22K kms and going strong. many other coils fail in a few hundred kms. Their customer service is excellent and prices are usually good...

    S. Meyer stands for Stefanie Meyer. Maybe his wife?

This stuff usually comes via the german post office, the shipping prices are reasonable but they take awhile. I wouldn't get too excited until it's been over three weeks. JT

Mike, I had ordered a Solo Seat from Seinberock last year and was quite Impressed with the service I received. I ordered the seat, it was shipped same day, and one my front door is 7 days from the Fatherland! I was really pleased.
