    Hey guys,

Some of you probably might not know me but I am good friends with Alex and John. I lived down here in SW Florida from 2006 thru 2010. I ended up moving back to Naples, Florida about 2 months ago. I am currently working at Naples Harley Davidson and I wanted to let all of you guys know that we are having a Hooters and Harleys Bike Night this Friday and Saturday at Naples Harley Davidson. We are tagging up with with girls next door (thats right......the HOOTERS girls) and will be having an awesome time this Friday and Saturday April 19-20th. All bikes are welcome. Hope you guys can all come out and check it out because like I said HOOTERS and HARLEYS........prime real estate!! The bikini bike wash starts at 1pm on Saturday! Thats just one of the cool things that will be happening amounst many others!

If you want some more information either message me or stop by Naples Harley Davidson and ask for me Josh Irwin.

    Cheers!

Josh I might head up that way Friday night. Will you be up there late? Will they allow any type of bike to enter the slow race?

I'm sure everything is flooded, my bike isn't running right still so I haven't rode all summer. I hope to have my fcr back in and the bike running properly by next weekend.

you guys that live down there, what's up with the Yorkshire area? I heard it was "closed" again. I rode down there a lot in the late 80's and early 90's, then it was closed up. Several years ago I heard it was open again, so I went down with the DRZ and ran into a couple NoPo Leo's on quads, they said it had opened back up because of a change in the county ordinances, and as long as you had a tagged bike you could ride anywhere except on FPL's ROW (next to the Interstate) and a couple of the big mudholes. If you had a quad or dirtbike, you had to keep it off the actual roads. We went down several times on dualsports and a couple times took a group which included quads (and I took my WR400) and made a day of it, with a cookout and all. Lot of fun!

It's over a year since I've been down there, but I've heard rumors that tickets are being issued again. I flew over it last week on my way to the other coast, and saw some trucks and trailers, never actually made out any bikes, but it looks like peeps were parked back on the east boundary. What's the scoop?

Last I heard they are still kicking off quads/bikes.
I've always ridden it during the week only and never ran into a cop. Also I usually have a plated bike.. Ran the 990 adventure down the wooped out FPL trail last week and saw only 1 or 2 other tracks in the sand and no one else.

It's the large undeveloped residential area north of I75 in NoPo. I take Toledo Blade to Price, Price runs into Yorkshire. Yorkshire takes you under I75 into the area I'm speaking of.

I hear that spot is hit or miss. Last I heard tho a group of guys I rode with for ran out of there a few months back. They were letting people from out of town off with a warning and giving a ticket to those who lived in Charlotte County.

Do you know if they were running them off or issuing tickets? And were they just after non-tagged bikes and quads? It's always been illegal to ride on the roads if you didn't have a plate. But you could ride off road, you were just supposed to push your vehicles across the roads if you wanted to cross. A street legal dual sport was good to go, road or off road, a couple years ago.

I couldn't say whether they are ticketing or not. I'd bet the plated bikes will have easier time dealing with the cops if you do get caught.
the "rules" out there change with whatever cop is on duty that day.. Stay away from the mud holes where the rednecks trash and hang.. the single track trails are best because cops on quads stay away from them. Nice to have a bike with a quiet exhaust out there also.

One time I caught a glimpse of a cop on a quad and turned off on the single track never to be found

So anyone got any info on that video? South Squares???? where is this and its legal to ride or gray area??
