So was that you guys I passed on Janes midday? 4 of you heading South on thumpers, me heading North on an 1150GS. Man, that water over the road on Stewart got DEEP!

yep that was us, why didn't you stop? i started to slow down and you wqent right by. i looked back and saw the ADV sticker.

the water on Stewart was nothing compared to what we were trying to go through about an hour earlier than that. we lost a KLX250s for a little bit but he got it running at met us up at the gas station on 41 and 29. after 2 oil changes he was ready to go and rode with us all day...... till he started blowing fuses. we all went back through there again on the way home just so we could play in the water some more. we were getting on it pretty good through there. we were all soaked head to toe.

It was nice to meet Rodney and .....(damn it! why the hell can't i remember his name?), you guy are pretty cool and make for some great riding partners.

Today was definably a bad day for team green. between all the problems Adam had then on the way home my battery broke. not went dead, it broke. you have to smack the battery to get it to make contact inside or something, wiggling the wires around does nothing.

so when are we all going to Ocala?

    Hey guys,

Anthony and I had a great day riding too, nice meeting everyone. There were a few more issues then normal but all's well that ends well.... :freaky

That was you that said you wanted a bigger battery today; no? Pretty Ironic.

Let us know when your ready to ride.

    My poor little klx... :rofl

Good news is I got a true shakedown ride with my bike today. I was just glad I had all the tools I had, and was with you guys. Without everyone I'd still be sitting on sable palm knee deep in water. Thanks again everyone for sticking around and lending a helping hand!

I finally figured out my wiring problem so no more popping fuses every 20 feet. Ending up being a short in my plate light.

No more water excursions for me until I figure out how to water proof the damn thing either...haha

Overall it was a blast, even with my bad luck I still had an awesome time.

i thought i noticed the left side bulb being blown out in the light.... if there even is one.

Yeah Rodney i want the bigger battery kit but i don't think i can afford it right now, a stock battery is going to cost me around $75.

Yeah hey that was a great time yesterday out riding in the glades other than Jason and I sitting around scratchin our balls (figuratively speaking of course) waiting to meet up with you guys.

One other thing, that was an exceptionally good time riding the DRZ400SM down Janes Scenic Drive!!!!! If anyone was curious about a supermoto going through mud, swamp, water a foot deep, all through the everglades the answer is..........HELL YES!!!!!!

$56 for your battery, goddam I got raped by Sunsports then. I think that I paid like around $110 or something around there and they didn't even put the damn thing on the charger like they said they would. I bought a Yuasa battery which is the best battery you can buy but still I know I paid way too much for it. FUCK sunsports man!!!! I will never go buy anything there again.

anyone want ti hit up the single track in North Port Saturday afternnon? i have to work till noon but i'll be up in that area with the bike (hopefully) and i haven't taken this one up there yet. the water crossings should be fun :D. Adam your bike should kick ass up there with that big ol sprocket.

the place is off i-75 and exit 182, it's a hike. i have a 3 rail trailer i could let someone borrow but i want a spot on it for the ride home. the place is great though for a day of riding.

I finally made it on here. Alex, Adam ended up taking off that huge sprocket the other night and went down a little. I think he said he wanted it to be a little more streetable, haha. The DRZ is awesome, thanks again Rich, I am looking forward to getting some off road seat time on it whenever I have a dam day off from work!

Just wanted to post a few pics up. Adam and I rode up Turner River Road tonight right underneath I-75. Nothing crazy riding wise, but it was just nice to get out and ride around and the weather was in our favor for once!

did you ever figure out how to water proof it? don't feel too bad about what happened that day, my first big ride was in Ocala and i forgot to do the T-vent mod to the 350 before i left. i was having problems stalling and not being able to restart all day. it's just part of the game i guess.
