image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Disc brake fitted, rear brake started and a few other bits worked on. Im very happy with progress just waiting on rear shockers so as I can take it up the fire trail for a test run.

image.jpeg Barkbusters fitted, does not show but I put some bar risers and a foam roll over the centre as per regulations. Also fitted indicators and started doing wiring but being colour blind and hopeless at wiring stuff in I gave up for the moment. So looking for shockers to roll up and take it for spin. Gonna pop over to SA soon to check out the first 6hour of the season. All the best

Beet, that little Enfield outfit looks great !

But it looks like you have a blown globe on your left side “cats eye” adjacent to the headlight ?

Remember, I had one blown and used a small piece of brewers hose pressed onto the globe to remove it, otherwise bloody difficult to remove with tweezers or needle nose pliers.

What is Brewers hose? Isn't that a bit of copper pipe?

Mouse, what I call Brewers hose is clear plastic tubing, capable of running fuel through it.
Maybe others call it something different.

Here’s a piece I travel with all the time, with a boating fuel tank primer bulb on one end.
I use it for fuel transfers between bikes sometimes.

Pumping the bulb prevents a mouthful of fuel when syphoning.

First round Of The 2018 SART series is this Saturday starting 1pm from the Marrabel rodeo grounds. Good field of 118 solos and 22 sidecars.
There is 2 viewing options, both are about 10kms from main control. With the area not having any rain lately, the area is very dry and dusty, so we please ask that you only go to those spots designated and only via the main road. A lot of community relations has had to go Into making this event possible so please respect our wishes and we can continue running the event in this area on the future. There also isn't any viewing at other spots as the sections start and finish some distance off of the public roads.
Food and drink available from main, And if a little light refreshments are needed, please see the guys at the marrabel hotel and support the local community.

Should have mentioned that viewing spot one you get to see riders in 2 different sections, by turning around and walking to other side of the road.
First spot on the left we are about 8kms into 13km section, drop down into a creek, which has multiple large rocks to contend with then turning right out out of creek into very tight single track down along creek bank.
Second spot on the right riders come out Of The scrub and turn along the fence line, to either a easy turn left or go straight ahead to multiple log crossing before dash to finish line.

The other area set aside, spectator point 2, riders are down in a creek and follow it most of the way, before popping out for final sprint to the finish line

SITTING, not in my sidecar - standing, pushing, fixing, laughing but no SITTING. Yes I have, it could be the end of a 50 year friendship.
