Richard, their tyre guru, talked me into a Dunlip 908 RR on the front of the Tenere and it's bloody magnificent. So far it's had some mud and plenty of dirt/gravel to contend with and has been faultless. They balanced it too and I'm not sure they charged very much for that. I know that they don't charge for fitting whereas one of my local shops was talking about 'anything up to $50 to fit a tyre'. I can do it myself if necessary, but these guys have been great.:clap

OK....looks like there will be some showers tomorrow but they're suggesting it happens before dawn and some further showers developing in the evening.
This gives us an opportunity to head out.
Nice casual ride through Meadows and heading south.....may or may not get to Deep Creek but that's OK.
Purpose is more for an exploratory run.
    All welcome.
Meet at the Meadows Bakery at 9am.
    See ya there.:clap

Yep agree the guys there are great to deal with and the pricing is great, going to try a michelin ac10 on the back after running a carlsbad since buying the bike. on fronts a ac12 so see if they suit my casual style of riding, also got front and back balanced, Now to get out and try them out some time this week.

Got through the carnage on the freeway at Callington on the way back from the Bridge, just after it happened - cars and bikes everywhere and one biker on his back with his chest being pounded.

Looks like he didnt make it, but just how two or three bikes and half a dozen cars managed to get tangled up on a straight, clear section of the road is beyond comprehension.

Following distance maybe they should enforce that! It`s as easy as fining people for not keeping the speed limit.

Freaks me out when someone with his tank with massive bull bars on it are about 1m from the back of the motorcycle.
