I've decided to go for a ride on a medium southern loop tommorrow Sunday 11th Nov and have arranged to meet DaveP at BP Belair 8am & then Sol at Littlehampton Bakery ( next to servo) 8.30am

I was telling Sol I was there last weekend & the lovely shop assistant showed me a pair of the biggest, most beautiful, fullest, delicious looking custard Berliners I had seen for ages

............................ Bugga I just found out it doesn't open until 9.30am Sundays. I'll have to visualise a different r**t* now :cry

Anyways if anyone wants to tag along, SWMBO has requested you must read & agree to the "Adventure Riding Assumption of Risk" below.

    Apologies for short notice.

    Cheers

I'v just seen this ..Iam quite keen but will have to confirm later tonight (got things to do ......................)

    cheers
    A.

the includes putting the forks back on the bike, the oil level measured at 90mm from top recomended max 120
rear race sag was about 12mm (after I loosened it off two turns previously) should be about 40mm
that combined with the forks high up in the clamps when I first bought it ............
    it was bloody deadly !

anyway I'll see what happens. :freaky

I couldn't go on MB's ride today due to a family get-together for a daughter's birthday celebration this afternoon, and after two hours of cleaning the entertaining area, cupbards and BBQ, I reckon it might be pretty warm out there on a bike.

This old age is catching up with me quickly and the turn in the weather takes a little getting used to...:knary Mind you, about 4pm I should have recovered.......:freaky

Hey Pete, I've been researching side racks and saddle bags. I like the wolfman set up from adventure Moto, have you heard of anyone using theTeton bags. Made out or HD plastic. Anyone else.?

Haven't had any contact with the Teton bags but Wolfman seems to be good gear. $580 for racks and bags is good value. Ya can't go wrong.
Everyone I know with Wolfman gear is pleased with it.
Adv moto is good to deal with, Steve will ring if there's a delay or anything, I get my tyres off him.

My panniers are Steel Ponies from Perth, Unavailable at the moment.

    P.

    Looks good too.

Not good, inmate Senfiddy has also come a cropper and had to finish his ride in the back of an ambulance yesterday unfortunately, I wasn't there but spoke with him on the phone afterwards as we were planning to go out today, he is battered and bruised and was knocked out cold but thankfully is OK considering and already planning his next ride,
Hopefully he will be along soon to give us all an ambulance ride report. :D

Hate to think, better check my insurance cover though cos I'm pretty sure my ambulance ride is coming up soon too, you know due to the law of averages and all :eek1 , did have a mate who's father was helicoptered out of the Vic high country once due to a heart attack, lucky for him he had insurance cover for that type of event as the bill was astronomical :eek1. , was equivalent to the annual budget of a small African nation apparently :cry.
