I took my Triumph (came from NSW) down for an inspection, they said to remove from the trailer for the inspection, could not wheel the trailer into the shed, lucky a fellow customer gave me a hand to get the bike off the trailer, only took 10minutes like Trev said for the inspection (this was at the old Collins Tansport yard) A nice inspector came out & gave me a hand to get the bike back on the trailer. The only real issue was getting the bike on & off the trailer when they could have let me wheel the trailer in to check the numbers.

We set off tomorrow for the 2017 Apex Outback Postie Ride. 4 days and about 1,000 kms through the Flinders. There will be crashes, there will be flat tyres and grown men will be reduced to tears. $800,000 raised since those humble beginnings in 2007.

These 2 idiots are leading the way. God help us.

See, I cleverly take ear plugs for exactly this sort of scenario. People need to think of the comfort of others more often....

A few photos from today, Gawler to Burra and back. Plenty of little water crossing, some really great tracks and great scenery on a really awesome winters day! All went well except for a couple of fuel miscalculations! Technically mine never stopped completely but a little top up to get to the servo never hurts!:rofl:rofl
