I was wondering how the chrome bores were?, now the fun begins!
Fun...yeah I guess, now she is officially "A PROJECT"
It's all good. Do you have a copy of Guzziology? It's very helpful. I thought my V-1000 engine was very easy to pull apart, check everything and then put it back together. Rick at MG Cycle was pretty helpful as well as several members here. You gotta get it running before spring so you can enjoy the burst of spring out in Oldham county. I used to live up there and loved to ride 329 and 1694 as the leaves were coming out. Cool bike you've got.
Cool that you know the area! Just now got back from there as we were working in a friends garage! Too bad about the Bike for sure but all is not lost, it may just take some time and cash to get her right again but we will. Definitely need to get back out on some of those great back roads!
