    Hay Hayduke! You seriously got me worried now... There's three of us headed to silverton for the last week of July; been planning this trip for a couple years now (kids and all, timed it just right, now or never kinda thing) should we be worried about fires in that area?!? I admit, I haven't been watching the news much, that shit is depressing...

    Currently, there aren't any big fires in our area, or in the Silverton area that I know of. Typically we'll start getting monsoon rains in July, so hopefully that will start, the fires will stop, and you'll have a nice green vacation.

    If you want to be really mis-informed, watch the news. :lol3 Even though some of these fires are awful, and big, this is a HUGE state! You'd have to really go searching for them if you wanted to get near the fires; they are tiny in the scheme of things. Sometimes, it seems like the news is purposefully trying to kill our tourist economy. :bluduh
