I'll again, be in. Red/white/black jacket, yellow DR650, chrome glasses are usually the give away.
Hope to meet some of you!
Not sure how long I'll be able to stay but I should be there for something cold x 2 at least
Probably bombing down on The Mighty CRF250.
Damn, I wish I could make it!! Gonna miss another fight....
Sorry to side track, but this seemed like a good place to ask... me and the ms are looking to get out of Chicago snow in feb. I was thinking we should head to sd for a long weekend of riding. I checked the usual weather sites but I prefer 1st hand opinions. Likely to rain? How cold? My skinny ass is only good to about 50 degrees. Any help is appreciated.
Ask and ye shall receive:
Could be raining. You'll have to check when you get closer. About a week out should give you a good picture.
problem is that I'd need to book further in advance. if it doesn't seem I can count on good weather, I'm gonna head to San Juan PR
When was the last time you knew any weather anywhere to be a certainty?
I live in San Diego, lived here all my life.
It has been a dry year, in general, down here. But rain in southern Cali is not like rain in Chicago. A hard rain(not likely to happen) here is like a light showers out east. And it only lasts for 5 minutes. Then its just cloudy for the rest of the day. We here, are a desert. Nothing is going to change that. The rain here has never stopped me from riding on the street and especially on the dirt. Weather will 90% favorable regardless of rain.
Hope this gives you an idea. Have a great time with the Mrs wherever yall head too.
I lived in Phoenix for 25 years. You can count on good weather there and none of the gated/chained/locked dirt roads we have in southern California.
thanks, that's what i was looking for
