That's Sextons Pond (SS3). The footage begins about 0.2 mile past the spectator area. It continues up to the "Is that an over-under jump?" intersection and then west to the finish.

Sandblast 2015???? I am considering entering. I have a Crf250L. I ride sandy roads in cheraw all the time. I'm a local guy but have never raced the rally. Any tips pointers....how to get started....other than the nasa rally page. I have read almost everything on that page. I would like to hear from some racers. I have a bike....gear....and a wildman's spirit. I hope thats all I need to get started racing on my dirt scooter. :D :thumb

Ok do I need a pit crew or at least someone for the service area? Does the race start in chesterfield and go through patrick and finish in cheraw?

Something like that- you don't need a service person. Any of the folks there would probably be happy to trade a beer or two for letting you plant a gas can in their sprinter van

Several of us do these races solo. I park my van at the service area then ride to the start. Last year I did manage to hitch a ride from the finish back to the service area but worst case you can just ride back there to get your service vehicle.

I say DO IT! This race is a blast (as the name suggests).
