There is no reason you can't have a foot brake with the Rekluse, the Rekluse left hand brake is an option and if you have the Z-Start Pro model Rekluse in that bike (which you may not) then you can have a manual clutch override (stock clutch lever) no problem at any time you want to pop the clutch. You do give up engine braking in gear with engine off and depending on how the auto clutch is tuned you compromise in some engine braking performance but there is no reason why you can't have a foot brake and Rekluse at the same time.

I tried the left handed brake option and short of running an extreme enduro I saw no benefit and it got in the way for my hare scrambles so I sent it back.

Yes! Some competition! Wait, 2x the HP, 3x the torque, and half the weight. Think anyone would notice if I put the TW200 wheels and plastics on the SE and ran it in the Lite class?

I think right now it's $220? Log in to your account and check.

For everyone: We have passed the "reserved" entry period and are now in the "early" entry period. Later comes "regular", then "late". Each time, the price gets bumped up.

Don't be like the unfortunate person I talked to just the other day who sent me an email "Hey, I just logged in to pay, I don't see the reserved prices, only the early price, what's up?"

So I check the logs... sure enough, they had waited a week since I sent out the reminder email and had logged in 2.5 hours after that price had expired. :( So don't wait!

In other news, I know that we have converted some of the folks that usually volunteer working the controls into RallyMoto racers. So they'll be on the other side of the time card exchange this year. :)

I'm getting excited... it's going to be a very big race this year. :D

This is Matt. Some of you know me from driving the combo car at sandblast the last few years. This year Anders/Amy have asked me to coordinate volunteers for the rally.

Anders mentioned that we have converted some of our dedicated some of our volunteers to rally too racers this year. I am excited to see you on the other side of the time card this year.

This means there are some great volunteer opportunities opening up for the rally. Some whether you have volunteered before or have been wanting to volunteer please sign up. We are working on some extra volunteer perks for this years rally.

Is this the only rally of it's kind in the southeast or are there more like it out there? Wouldn't mind doing a few of these next year. Looks like a blast.

Most if not all of the east coast rallies listed offer rallymoto.

We used to have 4 races that motos could enter....we lost Rally Tennessee last year. They need people to take on the challenge to "host" a rally. We're lucky to have the 3 we do,.

We should start up something to get people interested in hosting one... If more people had info about doing it maybe we could get more going!

Anders has the rally spreadsheet and doc package. If you've got the roads, he's got the folder to get you down that path, from municipal road closing asks to homeowner permissions, to insurance forms, to ham radio and EMT req's, to volunteer language.

Not for the faint of heart :D but you'd be my hero.
