Did you use much of our Southern DS Loop? If so post some of your sections up on the DS Loop thread if you can. The more the better. I started that Southern DS Loop thread with a bike I got from Sanjoh. I bet he couldnt reconize it now. But I will never forget the "Dirt Ninja".:roflThat thing is wild! But it looks like it runs as crazy as it looks.

    Day 1 pics

Bernice's Fish Camp in Tallywhacky to Opelika, AL... about 50 miles give or take

    The players...

Super "Dave" Osborne (aka Ginger Beard)...

Bernice... following along in a 200hp souped up golf cart...

Jerry (aka Philip Kuntz sans the porn 'stache)...

John (aka Sanjoh... purveyor of light and all things dirt Ninja)...

Kelly (aka Kelly Duke 2000... i gotta shimmy, jimmy)...

    Shawn (aka Buzztail... wurd, bitch!)...

Vic (aka Vico1... takin' it easy)...

and Brett on the left (aka Barney... beep, beep!)...

After meeting up with Barney & Vico1 at breakfast in the AM on day 1... Vic would shadow the ride on pavement up to Opelika, AL (first night's stop). The rest of the group would take the dirty route...

Some road that was closed to cars but not bikes... :evil

We arrived in Opelika at dark thirty so we wound up staying the first night in a motel instead of camping because some dumb ass couldn't figure out how far we were from a campground near Opelika along the route. It couldn't have been 50 miles from any point. At least that's what it looked like on the GPS. :deal

Day 2 - Opelika to Cheaha...

    A little bit of pavement...

A couple of bridges along the way...

The barn of happy endings??? :dunno

    Getting close to Cheaha...

Yup, it was a little dusty out there...

As we got closer to Cheaha, a few of us broke away from the group to check out Horsestomp. We tried to get there but several of the roads we followed on the GPS were closed. :bluduh It was getting late so we started to head back to Cheaha. We stopped at this place along the way...

Neat place. It was the "Walmart" of the no stoplight town. It had everything including guns. Chit, the owner will even demo a black powder gun for you...

    On the road towards Cheaha...

    Camp Chigger Cheaha...

BTW, no charge @ Cheaha for hammock camping according to the ranger! :thumb complimentary chiggers

    PK's chigger magnet setup...

If you haven't guessed by now, yea, there was some d00d on the other side of the bushes selling chiggers by the palletload. :rofl
