I'll be there. I still don't have a working GPS, so any route I lead will be theoretical at best.

I'll try and talk Wolfy and WolfyDad into making it. It's their regular weekend breakfast place.

EDIT: If you can't find the restaurant you have really become too dependent on technology. Get off the trace onto 82, head east, it's on the right.

I've got some route made up that way; I haven't ridden it yet, so I have no idea about its' quality. I kind of like the idea of just winging it! :evil

I might have to try and make this one and then head over to Carroll County. Need to get by to see the folks anyhow. Do the Jackson area folks have a time and place to meet to ride up or are we going solo?

PBTP to Mathiston is 109 miles via Hwy 25 / 15 and Google says allow 1 hr and 45 mins.

So to be there by 8:30, that would mean leaving PBTP by 6:45... :deal

Taking Hwy 25 to 16 and then over to the Trace the rest of the way = 107 miles and 2 hours and 5 minutes...

I still got to work out my yard pass for Saturday, so I will see if I can make it.

Wonder if I can get a Throttle lock in before next weekend...

I want to do this to my bike. Looks like it might work on most bikes.

Yep. I've had better luck than you though. This one is about 3 years old and had probably 45k miles on it between a few bikes, time to upgrade anyway. Damn expensive upgrade though :bluduh.

I'm thinking a Garmin Montana this time for the USGS Topo–quad capability. In the meantime I'm going without. I made it the first 32 years of my life with paper maps, I can make it a few more months.

They have been doing my refurbs for a $100 instead of the normal $150 charge. I've raised some hell with them and if I continue to go through them they may eventually be free just so they won't have to endure my verbal lashing of their shitty product. :D

A person considered to be reclusive, reactionary, out of date, or brutish.

You're such a troglodyte you probably think Milli Vanilli is actually singing!

I think Luddite is a more appropriate descriptor of my technological shortcomings.
