On Saturday, July 24th the Washington DC Area Vintage BMW Riders are going to ride from Leesburg to the Chrysalis Vineyards in Middleburg via Mount Weather.

We're going to meet at 9AM at:

    Tuck In Cafe
    5 Fort Evans Road
    Leesburg, Virginia 20176
    703-779-8168
    http://tuckincafe.com/

We’ll leave the Tuck In Café at 9:30AM and about 12:30PM be at:

    Chrysalis Vineyards
    23876 Champe Ford Road
    Middleburg, Virginia 20117
    540-687-8222
    http://www.chrysaliswine.com/begin.htm

    Distance: 75 miles
    Time: 3 hours
Road: Paved, except for the last 1 ½ miles to the vineyard

Chrysalis has free first-come-first-served picnic tables, tours that start every hour on the hour, and wine tastings every 20 minutes. They only sell wine and wine related hardware, though, so if you want to come along you may want to buy an extra sandwich / non alcoholic drink at the Tuck In.

Folks from this list are welcome to join us, though I will point out that a spirited ride on a 1928 R63 might be perceived as a little slow for anything made after, say, 1960!
