Hint: you'll find this at the county line.

Incidentally (you can't really see it from the road), they're in the process of re-erecting this monster at the far side of the site, after disassembling it and shipping it down from Pennsylvania. It's supposed to be running again by the end of this year.

In case anybody's paying attention and you can't read the sign, it says "Martin Marietta Aggregates".

    I'm sensing deja vu....

Might go grab this one (again) tomorrow.

I haven't been out there since my buddy ate shit on his Sportster.
High water in the ditches did make for a soft landing, though.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time for this location; this is not the same tag as post #972. This company has more than one operation in the coastal region. :deal

Ah, I should have fully read the original post. Makes sense considering your tag in the other thread.

Finally got a day off to chase the tag that Hughlysses artfully placed.

A true South Carolina legend, this bronze sculpture is located in a town that has the same name as a town elsewhere known for it's grilled meats, particularly, 'brats'. More clues if needed........[IMG]

    Another clue or 2 please.
And for all you who got it already, YOU should have
    grabbed it by now.

Neat tag, I just couldn't find it.

Ken, don't feel bad, I drove by this for a year or two on my way from Florence
to Georgetown before I saw it. (clue #1)
The road that it is on is a state road with (2) 2 digit road number designations. One set of numbers adds up to 5 and the other set adds up to 6. (clue#2)
If that doesn't do it try googling 'Witherspoon's Ferry'.
Thanks for trying to rescue the tag! Looking forward to see where you put the next one!

Hey guys.. I am over in the Stan right now but the wife is home causing problems. Shes preggo, due Mar 11. Ill be home Mar 1.

She got pulled on 378 in turbeville. She said she didn't see the decrease.. I call her a liar. No one speeds through Turbeville. 51 in a 35. $388. We find out the sex of the baby next friday and she was going to buy some clothes to celebrate but told bad for her. She doesn't work. I told her she'll have to find the money some where cause I didn;t get the ticket.

Any one with connections in Turbeville with the Law? I'll owe you one. :freaky

Got no connections for ya, but I do have a trick that has worked for me more than once.

Go to court for the ticket, wearing at hat. When she enters the courtroom, pause at the door as if looking for where she wants to sit.

In reality, she will be looking to see if the judge is at the bench.

If he/she is at the bench, she is waiting for the judge to notice her at the door. At that precise moment, remove the hat and take a seat. If the judge isnt at the bench, remove that hat and be sure to carry it so the judge notices it when the case is called

It is all about respect. Plead guilty, offering an excuse that is not ridiculous, and if she has a good driving record, mention it.

Never had the technique fail to cut fines in half, and on one occasion where they got me for running a red, careless driving and seatbelt, all was thrown out but the seatbelt {judge said he had no option on that charge} I was an autoglass installer then, and had a truck full of the days work, and I swore the light changed with unusual speed. I think the cop had some sort of control over it...

    Be careful over there, bud!

PM me her info and the date this happened. I know a guy who knows a guy so I can't guarantee anything but we'll try.

Turbeville is about as bad as Society Hill for speed traps. But hey, it's all about safety. Doesn't have anything to do with revenue. Nope, absolutely not about revenue. Just safety..... :-\
