I'm a lurker.. not sure why I joined but I got back on because my dad just let me borrow his MTS 1200 for 2 months while he is gone. So... you should been seeing both bikes. In that regards I am looking for nice dirt trails to take the MTS on.

What;s this Eggy and Nutzy thing. I like holding titles. I am currently all over sumter on foursquare. And I am on a bunch of other forums... ibmw. shiva's forum. bimmerforums. bmwmoa. I just keep the same tags and passwords for all with gimpy9195....

Nutzy, I SHALL find you some day....I promise! :cry

So, go retrieve either or both of the tag mascots and you can have the distinguished title of Eggy/Nutzy holder. I know a couple SC locals like PeeDeeRider, Fox102, and I think Kalonji have carried Nutzy before. Nutzy was dropped about 15mi from my house but I didn't know about the game at that time. PDR picked him up and then carried him off before I could collect him. Then JALnSC and I got "Bruced" by Fox102 trying to pick up nutzy down toward Manning or something. I'm still a bit bitter about that....:lol3

No and no. File photos can be used for placing new tags (but not for grabbing a tag). You just have 6 hours from your grab post in which to post your new tag in this and the other two regional SC games, and 24 hours in the state-wide game.

    Welcome!

Thanks! I checked it out. The area photo is a little... o.. rule number 6 no wining about distance. Might go grab Lowcountry once the wife leaves for work. I can make it down that way quite fast on the BMW. The Ducati was a little scary near the transfer trucks.

Congrats on the grab =) I was surprised when I finally got home and saw the reference to the state lunch thread. What a coincidence! I had no idea it would be the state lunch idea. I had planned the ride last week what I saw the previous tag was sitting and wanted to combine the previous tags in some fashion. Unfortunately, I'll be working this Saturday. Maybe next month I can finally meet some of the SC adventure tagging crew.

just wait.. I just got back from a sunset ride where I probably should;t have taken my fathers Ducati. I had to drop my feet through some of the turns. Kinda felt like this at 0:38. :D

Found a monument and took a picture! Can't wait to use in either the midlands or state thread. I am off tomorrow to so I might have to go hit up the Low-county on the K1200R. It;s a little better on the interstate.

One more question is it mandatory to keep the same theme going for tag's and grabs?

cheers... my name is Wade by the way.

There is no requirement that the new tag match the theme of the old one. It's just something that riders sometimes do. In the Midlands tag game you are, however, required to post a new tag within 6 hours of your grab or risk forfeiture of your grab :cry Check the rules on page one. You can tag anything within the Midlands boundries - again, see the first page and scroll down to the map.
The idea is to ride a lot and have fun doing it. :D Glad to see you in the game.

A friend and I rode what might be a lake with too many ee's and I had no reception. So we stopped at about 4 similar locations, but none matched. We were on the west side though and it was a wonderful day trip. Maybe next weekend, because I'm sure of the location, just ran outta time on the way down the east side.

So who's gonna grab it this week?

Can't believe I lived in Columbuia for 14-1/2 years and never ran into this thread, or any of you guys.

There was a fellow named Gus with a Silver KTM 950 Adventure I ran into a few times at La Fiesta

rode out Old Charleston Hwy & up to Sand Mtn down by the Calhoun Cty line most of the time, pity there weren't more FF's out there to play with

Up here in the mountains things are a lot different, steep inclines w/rocks aren't the same as sand :rofl

:D I've got two tags already, so I think I'll hang back for a while and see which one of you adventurers gets this one.

Good luck and enjoy the ride.
