Nah, I think I everyone is kind of shell shocked from all the rain. Unless work calls at the last minute, I will be up for lunch on Sat.

I'm still riding 300 to 500 miles per week, most all of it on the weekdays. It is hot as hell in the Aero and the rain is a welcome sight most of the time. Spent a couple of hours Wednesday chasing showers around Beaufort, Jasper, and the nearby counties. The rain has filled the swamps and a lot of the roads through the forests are breached with small streams but very passable. A great time for seeing the swamp wildlife moving around, enjoying the unique lighting of the sun in the cypress trees and the beauty that surrounds us here in the Low Country. A quick run through the rain on the way home and most of the dirt gets removed. Every now and then I will pass another rider on Hwy 278 or 321 but 95% of the time I am on the more remote county roads that are not going anywhere in the major directions. Menu item: BP gas station in Estill,SC has lunch buffet for about $6 including drink and the peach cobbler is a keeper.
    Happy trails.

It's time for another Charleston lunch. It may be my last one for a while with the baby coming in September :clap

We were thinking about riding some dirt roads/wma tomorrow in SC. Anyone is welcome to join! Someone pick a lunch spot and we will see if we can make it. South Charleston would be better for us. Tomorrow is supposed to be a great day weather wise.

Sorry, too many days off (not really, I leave work and come home to do more work to get the house ready). I was waiting to post that after this month's lunch. It just feels like Saturday to me. So, yes, charleston lunch August third. Tomorrow lunch I'll be at home painting. Sorry for the confusion.

My Sprint went to a new home in Asheville yesterday. :cry I'll miss Dolly's sweet tunes. We loaded it and the 650's up yesterday, planning on a little dual sport mountain ride today. With the mudslides, sinkholes and rivers at flood stage up there, we decided to head for home instead (to more rain). I can give a good report on a neat restaurant in Clyde, NC, though, called the Blue Rooster Southern Grill. The salmon with honey teriyaki glaze and the coconut creme pie were delicious. :dg FYI, they're closed on Saturdays.

    Mmmmm coconut cream pie mmmmmmmm

    Bittersweet on the dolly situation:clap:cry:freaky:deal

Talked with Cataract and suggested 5 loaves to him so we can have a more vegetarian friendly selection for caycek5 :pope. Draechon suggested black bean co. But said it might be a bit pricey but it's not

Either selection will be at the downtown locations. Y'all choose or let the vegetarian choose. I love 5 loaves but would also like to try the black bean co.

We sir are at an impass...:eek1

Either one looks good to me. I know the group size varies, but could 5 loaves accommodate a large group if that happened? Pick one and post it up.:deal

5 loaves has that large table in the back that seats 12-14. We usually don't have more than that. Can't speak on the black bean company. Can anyone esle?

5 loaves it is. Dtw black bean co. I was told is like a small cafe. I don't think we'd fit that great if we have a decent turn out. Which we will. :D

Charleston and kalonji is supposed to call a place that Draechonsuggested to see what the seating situation is. :deal
Otherwise I vote for 5 loaves.
