Yep, Chesnee. I was headed that way after my noon training class for work. Where's it headed, I got a fully charged iPod and a full tank of gas.

It was Chesnee and I'm headed out now to photo the new tag.
Bulleteer, that was close...just 18 mins apart. Wow this is gonna be fun, but I see I'm gonna need to carry a laptop with satellite connect. I may figure out how to do it with my phone but its so user unfriendly!

Not too close. I never left the house. I stayed here working on my Google jockey merit badge. :lol3

Wow! What a fine day for a spin. Talked to a friend in Maine this morning...he was shoveling a foot of snow off his deck. Won't repeat what he said when I told him I was going for a ride. We sure are lucky to be here instead of there.:jkam
I got a late start, but had some good 'ole belly food at Bantam Chef and then over to Cowpens NP to check on some upcoming events.
Just got back in to see a successful tag. :clap

Marc. we will have to get you an honorary card for the O.F.R.A.T (Old Farts Riding Any Time) group. It is good for occasional free passes that do not count against missing work. Note: this offer does not apply to "Google Jockeys":lol3

I'm confused. What do you mean you never left the house? Did you mount a camera on your remote control motorcycle?
Please expalin for the new guy till I get the hang of reading between the bytes!

Google Maps has a nifty feature that lets you "see" many map locations from the street. This feature is available for most populated areas in the US. They add to it daily. They just recently added the Tail of the Dragon near Fontana.

Click on this link for a complete explanation.

Think of the possibility of a "dual" tag.
Take a pic from there and claim it, then walk across the line and take another looking the other way to set one up for the SC game. :evil

There's some exploring to do there for sure. 30 miles SW of their previous tag puts me well into GA, so I don't know if the distance or the heading is wrong (or maybe it's just me).

Do you know where it is, banjo? Somehow, I bet you do.

Could the pic with the stuff in his nostrils be a hint???? #2582 on that thread.
Booger Hollow Trail, maybe? That would be at the GA/NC line, so it would squelch the "dual" tag.

Man, I had no idea where that lake was, much less an NC state line on a dirt road! I tend to stay on the road, I've never ridden off road on purpose in my life.
