My Kenda K335 tire on the front of my Ural is starting to scallop. I know it's an issue with this model of tire but any harm in knocking down the raised portions with an angle grinder? Or just ignore it... The tire pressure is at 35psi...which I believe is alright...maybe drop it down to 30-32?

Check out the profile of the tire in the pic...you can see it...

The scalloping is simply from all of the breaking load being exerted on to the tire. Happens on dirt/knobby tires. Flip the tire around.

yea its from braking, i think higher air pressure is better or highest psi on the sidewall of the tire. i flip mine around like mcma111 says too. some say only flip them if they dont have a directional arrow but i do all my knobbies anyway.
