Hummmmm, Sounds familiar to me......
7:30 pm tonight at Brewhause
Todd's compound is the gathering place. Not Brewhause tonight
Guess I should have checked back before showing up at brewhaus. Doh
Sorry :/ check your pm!
At work til midnight but if you guys are at the PB I'll come out.
Well, I had plans last night in Nashville. Tonight, though, may be another story!
I do believe we'll be headed back to the 'Nooga....
In other news, I almost got to see my boss throw down in a bar fight!
He was bringing the drinks for the ladies (it's good to have a wealthy & super cool boss!). Some jerk tried to take his seat next to the girl he was trying to hit on, and he simply said, "excuse me, I have these girls drinks...
So, dude kinda stood up in a pissed off kinda way, and made my boss spill a little bit of the booze on the girls!! :eek1
Apparently, my dude told my boss he was an idiot... So my boss man looked dude in the eye real serious like and said, "no, YOU are an idiot. Leave."
My boss is a self-made millionaire. Certainly NOT an idiot. AND, he has quite a bit of pull in Nashville.. He also happens to be a big guy that plays hockey... Not really a guy to mess with.
Needless to say, the other guy left...
... and there was much rejoicing!
I need to get down there and test out my new windshield!
Hey man, you the klr at the UTC EMCS with ammo can panniers?
Chattanooga thread !!
Negative... No ammo cans. Just a black top-box that came with the bike.
I'll probably get some soft panniers of some sort this summer.
Ammo Cans? On a KLR?? No Way!!!
I went to Murfreesboro to check out Lyndon Poskitt's presentation and it was super awesome!!
I didn't know much about the Dakar racing, and this dude did the whole thing and had so many stories to tell about it. Really glad I went to hear this guy talk.
Who's in town this week? Are we meeting up?
I'm thinking of hitting the woods this coming weekend for a much needed sit around a campfire, drink, and eat overnighter......... Nothing etched in stone yet, but am looking into it. Going to be warm and I'm Jonesing!
Probably up to Tellico, or maybe Cohutta Wilderness............
I'll be riding the GS 11, or the PD,....... as the XR is getting a front end transplant
I was thinking the same thing. Where would you camp in Tellico? I personally like the Primitive spots, Holly Flats or North River Road.
Anyone else up for camping in the woods?
North river road, Whigg Meadows, Beaver Dam Bald..........several places to choose from up there. The week is still young....
You're backing out already! :eek1 and it's just after noon on Monday!
I'm going to see how much rain we receive on Friday, as to if it's a Friday & Saturday night camp....... for sure a Saturday night camp out. Primitive Camping, so pack your stuff in, and garbage out! Monte, can you make it? Todd? I believe Paul is gonna try and make it.
Todd and I rode a couple hours after work yesterday, bombed some back roads taking advantage of some great weather, and it seemed like everyone was out on a motorcycle! We ended up at Brewhaus, ran into Lance, and just enjoying talking bikes and drinking good beer. Hell of a way to start the week!
Hmmm... the last time I went to meet up with some local inmates (who shall remain nameless, but have been mentioned on this very page) for camping at Beaver Dam Bald, nobody showed up. The crickets that night were so damn loud I couldn't sleep. Howabout one of the first two choices?
I vote North River!
Also who wants to meet at BrewHaus on Thursday night?
7:30 PM I will be at Brewhaus!
T~Bill if you come out, I'll be there. I will not change my plans, promise!
N. River will probably be the easiest. I am SOOOOOO in need of a camp out on the bike :slurp LET'S GO CAMPING!!!!!
