Guys, I'm about to buy a Schuberth C3 Pro, matt black, and will have to stick an Interphone F5 on the outside (I would go for the SRC, but none of my riding pals have Schuberth lids). If I ever have to remove it, am I likely to leave marks behind? What are these matt coloured helmets like in the long term, when it comes to bug removal?:evil Is the paint quality good?

WebBikeWorld noted on their review of a matte white Schuberth SR1 that the paint was hard to clean.

I have the S2 matt white, Can't compare to others because it's my only helmet.
You're right , it's hard to clean everything off.

If you ever ride where theres a chance of getting tree sap on your helmet do NOT get a matte finish. Trust me on this. :eek1

Luvn' the bling C3 pro in matte, sorry I can't help you I haven't stuck anything to it.

Also I haven't had any issues cleaning it but I haven't put it through some of the conditions I see mentioned either, my dual sport helmets get the real abuse :lol3

From speaking to a mate who has a matt Schuberth, it's not as adhesive, so coupled with the cleaning issues, I'm going with the new for 2014 Intensity White/ Blue.

So you are getting a $600 helmet that had a ton of work put into it to make it the quietest helmet on the market and sticking a noisemaker on the side?
