As i said above. I will not post too many unsolicited safety announcements. I will hovever respond to comments made about unsafe riding. You people are in charge and you have all made comments about your own unsafe riding... This forum is not even 12 hours old!

Precedent has already been established in this area in the case of Dr. ABS Brake and the case of the faulty GS brakes. He felt extremely strongly about GS brake problems and has been allowed to make his case in one thread. Over and over agin - in persuasive detail.

Blasting each and every thread with the same opinion (outside of Jo Momma) is not acceptable.

You've got your soapbox. Build a compelling case there.

I will no longer blast opinion. I will politely ask questions in response to others posts. This is what a forum is for isn't it?

If you decide to discuss your out of control riding i will ask you some questions. I am not going to post any opinion (as my opinion of scooters is now known). I will only post fact, or ask questions of posters.

You've said you hate scooters. You've said they're unsafe and contribute a disproportionate number of "customers" to your "service." We got that. So, instead of backing off, feeling threatened, blasting every thread, etc., you've got a platform.

Go hog-wild in Death. And why you're more likely to be dead on a scoot. Post stats. Useful information. Other relevant stuff. Build a compelling case. Maybe, somebody will engage you or learn something that just might change their mind about scooting. And, if they do, you can consider this a victory.

    Sound like a plan? :ear

Gee, I think I will go out tonight and do some city riding on my scooter. No cops out, just enough cars to have some fun with. Maybe hop some curbs too...

You may believe a few beers will calm you down so you can focus on your riding.

Have a pleasant time jumping curbs, and enjoy your drinks. :wave

Yeah, I always make a point of telling my MSF students that when I'm teaching. Especially the students on scooters. :rolleyes

Where were you when I was taking the basic and ERC courses? I had these two old Goldwing-riding duffers teaching the class that woulda considered MRN too "racy" for their tastes. Motorcycling is serious business! Can I get a Road Captain to weigh in on the matter?

Duff beer for everybody who drops their bike! :beer

I wear these haevy hiking boots for most of my walks. I have a pleasant walk around the neighborhood and say hello to the neighbors and all...

Then sometimes I wear my bright blue athletic shoes and I'm running all over the place and almost knocking into people. I go through the mall like a meth-head and run up the down escalators.

Then sometimes I wear these sandals I have made from hemp. I find myself walking throught the neighbors yard, taking shortcuts, and jaywalking. I keep asking myself, "dude, am I high?" "where am I?" and stuff.

I don't know what the problem is. I just seems like the shoes make the man.

I mean, jeebus, it's supposed to be FUN or else Aerostich would offer a sackcloth edition 1-pc.
