Great road, 9N, outside Lake George. Last year as smooth as you could want and quite twisty.
hows this? yes they both drive and stop
those are so incredibly ugly that they are perfect. I love them!
What are they?
Kymco Xciting 500. Last bike before this one was a Yamaha 1100. But this Ultra Scoot is more fun!
This is my expression when it comes to Mainland China Scoots! What kind of engineering night mare is that?
Have to replace the itty bitty china scoot radiator Qlink Pegasus 150 Overheats! Warning do not buy Mainland China Scoot! Because this is where you will end up! Working on it!
my MPG Muscle bikes..
My 1965 SS180
These zipr3i's are weird little scooters. It took me a while to get around to sorting it out, sealing the damned oil tank, and fiddling with the junky carburetor, but it pulls 44MPH [gps] WFO now.
A pipe and a real carb would probably go along way to making a screamer out of it, but I wouldn't trust the oil injection then. Maybe I'll go 70cc's when it seizes
I had 2 yamaha riva 180cc. They were awesome...highway speeds..
And you could always take a rice-burner civic at a stop light.
I'm guessing the pictures are someone who's fromthe Netherlands and riding around on a 50cc scooter?
I myself just scoot around on my 250 doing my errans:
new to ADVrider (Hello all)
Here's my scoot-
My Chinese made 250 scooter, I have to say it's been a pleasure to ride since I got it, up to 65 mph according to my GPS, 160-180 mile per 2.1 gal of 87 octane fuel, no shifting, no clutch, just twist and go.
The REAL "BattleScooter":
'05 Honda Big Ruckus...too bad I don't have any of my guns in the pic...
Fabb'ed rear rack
Slipstreamer Universal Windshield
Rubbermaid box from WallyWorld (my "white trash trunk")
Homemade K&N air filter
Dr. Pulley sliders
A few other goodies
It daily travels several miles of gravel, it camps, it fishes, it commutes, it does it ALL; it's a Big Ruckus. And after just over two years, it has more than 18,000 miles on it.
Damn, I LOVE my scooter...
Here's my ride: 2007 Kymco People S-250. She's got Dr. Pulley slider-rollers [20g] in the CVT. Nicely steps out and gets over 70 mpg.
All that reflector tape is to hide road rash from the second day I had her. So her name is CAPTAIN AMERICA as befits all that red, white, and blue.
Nice to be somewhere. At 63 years old, any place is nice. :)
If someone tell me how to put the pic up, I will happily do so! [7 May 08: thanks for the tutorial. It worked!]

A work in progress:
the new GT 200
Where was this photo taken? That diner looks familiar...
this morning in downtown St Paul. It's been in continuous operation 24/7 since the '30s but it's been used in a number of films, 'likely why it looks familiar.
I was thinking it looked like the Diner featured in the movie, "A Prairie Home Companion" and so it does because it is the diner shown in that movie! Thanks.
