Pretty crappy pic from yesterday's little jaunt.
Yeah, I added a 49cc to the stable. Slow is fun
Ive got 2 scooters, a 1986 Honda Elite 150 and a 2000 Honda Helix. The Elite has been my trusty steed for the last 10 years and 13,000 miles. I just got the Helix this year and its already dead. Poor up keep by the last owners led to its death. It will be repaired and on the road again soon.
The Elite, its a bit beat up, but its got 23k on it.
The Helix, as it was when i got it. I don't know the story on the paint job, but it had to go.
Helix after the repaint.
And its reason for being dead.
Also has a knocking rod.
I sure do love those in white, and the new mets too!
My Pister Pro Classic 125 (CT70 clone) with bicycle trailer.
Does this sound good?
Any new discoveries on what order things went wrong with your Helix?
(I looked on the other board but didn't see an update)
I figure the burnt valve is from me running it too long with the carb boot broken. As for the rod, that has to be for poor service on the last owners part, the first thing i did when i got it was change the oil and have changed it about 3 times since owning it.
Honda Elite 150 is the coolest scooter on the earth, human have ever made.
The 'real' coolest scooter on Earth?

parked on the porch here....Abita Springs, LA
How did you do that?
Funny, if you threw a rock off that overlook at the willamette falls, you might just hit me on the head. I work at the papermill right below there. Just dont hit my scoot parked in the lot. Also a SWing!
