Does FMF sell a Fatty for the chappy or did you make one fit? If so which one? I have a 4 speed one and a auto which I'm trying to make one real nice one out of.

Chappy's were fun little bikes. I an auto, ran great, bought it at a garage sale for 375 bucks. My daughter was five at the time, and the seat was great for toting her around. She would sit in front of me, and sometimes, I would let her steer and use the throttle.

I have modded a PW80 fatty pipe to fit. I cut the flange of the FMF and slide the chappy threaded collar on to the downpipe. I then made a new round flange to fit against the Chappy exhaust port and welded on. I then welded an extension pipe on the end and used a Viper scooter end can. The expansion parts runs along the frame like it was made for the job. It is much lighter than the factory system and you can decoke easily. The Chappy now revs harder and sounds much nicer. It climbs hills much better as well. Top speed is now nearly 50 mph ! I have upjetted the carb to a 105 jet but it still needs a bit of fine tuning.
Next job is to make 10" lambretta rims fit the hubs so I can fit trail tyres ( Sava MC17's )

My Stella/LML/PX, parked just out of sight of the squatter's camp on the other side of the river there. I've been watching this camp get built up over months as my commuter train passes it by. It's in a bright little valley under power lines, tucked in between the Baltimore-Washington rail line and an abandoned spur into the nearby industrial park, and every day, it's a bit better. The guy's got a tent and a well-built fire pit, a clothesline, beach umbrella, a bench, and a real tidy little home place there on the bank of the river. I've been dying to get a photo for weeks, and I finally went looking today, sneaking through a water treatment plant to get to a grown-over service trail to the storm drain tunnels that run under the tracks. The scoot's a little tentative on swampy ground, but I got there without a mishap.

Parked it, worked my way through the brush, and saw the guy sitting by his campfire, reading a book and looking pretty damn contented, and decided not to intrude with my camera.

The wife is out of town visiting family so I took her Helix and rode up to the Great Southwest Scooter Fiesta. Nice event, the guys did a great job for a first time effort.

Two pics from the route across the Indian Reservation and up to Gilbert, AZ from my house:

From a distance I thought this was a community center because of the elaborate wall art. Turned out to be a water pumping station.

More pics from the scooter rally here.

we took a ride from north to middle of Taiwan in 2008, and we met a tank accross the road, it's very funny to compare them.:rofl
they said the tanks was served in Veitnam War, veteran tanks. now just like a big toys stand by the road.
Is that really Battle Scooter? Ha Ha..

Ive got to know where those body parts are found at? I see what looks like a chin spoiler on the red one and white one. I also see non stock looking side fairings.

that red Elite150 is my pal Michael's favorite, and he truly take a lot of effort to improve the Elite, including biger cylinder, new fork, and you see the "huge chin spoiler", actually it is handmade something, quite a view, right?

What kind of bigger cylinder did he put in? Performance stuff is hard to come by here for the Elite. All ive done to mine is add a bigger jet and a UNI filter.

Woohoo, picked up my reskinned Ruckus seat from the upholstery shop today. I was going for the pleated '70s style. :evil
