What's more important to you, storage or handling?

I vote for the Tmax. I'd love to see you commuting to the university like this guy.

I know that the Tmax does not have much storage space but with a top case it would be plenty.

When I moved away from motorcycles to scooters, I knew I'd be giving up some handling. But also, as I was now older, canyon carving wasn't as important as comfort and dependability. My Majesty, while supposedly not as good a handler as a T-Max, is far more capable than I am, even being darksided. It also has been rock solid with no issues whatsoever for 30K miles. My 650 Burgman Executive has proven to be a very good tourer and great for interstate traveling, as comfortable as my Goldwing, at least for me. Both have more than enough storage space and I have added topcases to both. My go to machine most of the time though, has been my Morphous. I had to add a large trunk, because the storage was lacking but the seating position and driving comfort rivals that of the big Burger. Surprisingly, the 250 provides plenty of go power for most situations. Decide what's important to you, how it will be used, study the choices, then decide. Then go shopping!

Well that settled that. What a great outcome to a crappy crash.

I have some ex's and a few bosses who might disagree with this statement.

Certainly but the important question is: were they scooter riders?

    So how about an update?

On Saturday my wife and I took about an hour drive to GeeGusKahn's house and he had a beautiful 2006 Burgman 650 that he gave me. Yep, he gave it to me!!! Can you believe that there are still people in this world like that? What a wonderful man.

He also gave me 2 sets of tires and several spare parts.

I spent the weekend washing and polishing it.

Here she is grabbing her 1st tag.

I never really thought that the 400 felt like a scooter but after riding the 650 I am starting to think that. The 650 feels so much more substantial than the 400. The engine is super smooth and has a cool turbine like sound.

It is also darksided. I don't have any experience with the 650 on a motorcycle tire to compare it to but so far I don't feel any handling problems. I like it so far.

I'd like to think I'd find a ride for my old Bonneville when the time comes but that is a nice scooter. Lots of life, lots of possibilities.
